His moto is " No job too big or too small" Called me back when I called. Called the day before job was scheduled and confirmed that he was coming and at what time. Showed up when he said he would. Finished the job! Did great work and was very clean about his work and the area surrounding it. I'd hire him again in a minute.

Juan did an excellent job removing old concrete splatter dating back to the 1990's from our red brick front porch and sidewalk area. He is very meticulous with his work, and it was a real pleasure working with him. Our front porch looks amazing!

We were nervous about taking on this project. We were knocking down a brick wall in our kitchen to install a fridge - since we didn't know what or how much material was behind the wall several other masons were hesitant to take on the job. Juan, however, made the job look easy. We could not be happier with the end product - the hole is to our exact specifications and he even helped move a chimney to our basement fireplace. We were thrilled to have found Juan and should we have any further needs of a mason for our house renovations you can bet your bottom dollar we're going to call him again.

He was prompt, polite, and professional. The only reason I didn't do 5star on everything was his warranty on the work wasn't as good as others but I would hire him again. Did work when I needed and cleaned up when done. Price was very fair and looked great. He replaced chimney cap and crown.

Juan is da-MAN! Itâ s as simple as that... Iâ ve hemmed and hawed for several years over the job that he did for us. Iâ ve had other masons look at it. Some said â sure no problemâ , but couldnâ t answer simple questions about how theyâ d go about it. Others did seem to know how, but asked a price that said â I donâ t really want this job!â . Several came right out and said â Thanks, but no thanks!â . The job was to open a a wall between our kitchen and a newly enclosed porch. Multiple factors, in particular a dead chimney in the way, and 200 year old three-wythe construction with several stories of wall above, made the work way more challenging than that description makes it sound. Juan was candid about the challenges of the job, but had good explanations for how heâ d manage the risks, and he asked a fair price. And if he had then come out and done the job we talked about, and that was that, Iâ d still be writing a great review, but he did so much better than that. Once he got into the work and could see what he was up against, he made suggestions... and as a result, itâ s SOOOO much better than we had hoped for. In the end, the opening is wider and taller than we expected, thanks to Juanâ s suggestions and expert work, and the support for the wall above is almost certainly stronger than what was above the old 3 ft wide door before. If you need masonry work done, you really should call Juan. He is very, very good at what he does. . . and heâ s also a super-nice guy! I donâ t often write rave reviews, because I often feel like I could have done the work better myself. . . but not this time around!!!! Like I said above Juan is da-MAN! I highly recommend Loveâ s Masonry.
