Rick was very thorough in the quoting process and had drawings prior to me signing off. Work was done mostly at his shop then installed on-site. Kept me up to date well. He and his crew were on-time the days he was at my house. Quality of work was good and he clearly loves what he does. Was able to navigate through some issues with my old house. Final price was exactly as quoted. Would recommend Baxter Construction to anyone.

Gates were built to match the deck with additional safety in mind. Added height to ensure safety and additional locks to re-enforce safety in the deck enclosure. This added a great secure feeling while on this second story deck! Great job Rick!!

They were no unexpected charges, all additional work outside of the original scope of work was agreed and approved by both parties. We will request Baxter Construction for our next build.

Rick and his team are real professionals.  He gave me a full breakdown on all his cost, and included his profit.  He did the work exactly as we discussed. His team was timely and kept the work site clean.  We had tow very minor issue and these were resolved promptly!!

They did very well and it went very well for us. They were very personable. They finish the job on time without any hustles at all.  I was very pleased with the way they treated the rest of the house, they didn't make any mess, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Through it all Richard Baxter was very patient (had to order special roofing to match our Morton Barn) and would not charge more than the estimate even though the Morton roofing panels were more expensive by half. Excellent workmanship and timeliness. Hay is stored and on sunny mornings we can enjoy sitting out of the wind as well. Great job at a fair price.

Rick Baxter is extremely professional.  He is a meticulous planner and perfectionist with attention to every detail.  As with most remodel projects, unforeseen issues presented themselves.  Rick had solutions for everything.  He really listened to what I envisioned and the final project exceeded my expectations.  Rick is also conscientious about costs.   His fees are reasonable and he honors his contract.  I am very lucky to find such a great person to do business with.  My projects were completed very timely and well within my planned budget.

When we first bought this property, we wanted to turn it into a nice horse property and also needed much more outdoor storage areas. We interviewed several contractors and chose Rick Baxter for his honesty, polite clean appearance, his fairness in pricing, his professionalism, and his previous accomplishments. He did several projects for us in a timely, clean, organized manner. His work crew members were also delightful. We intend to use Rick in future projects.

We met Rick Baxter at church in mid-March.  After casual conversation, I mentioned on the phone after seeing his excellent website (www.baxterconstructioninc.com) that I would like for him to build me a detached garage.  So he said he would pull his trailer from Bayfield, CO to Pueblo, CO which he did and after two weeks we had a beautiful detached garage.  He allowed me to work along with him as best I could.  While waiting for the siding for the garage, I hired him to build a basement bathroom which he has been doing.  Rick is always very punctual and professional as well as being a pleasant person who is respectful and considerate.  I look forward to having him work for us again.
