We hired Vacant Interiors to pain the interior of a rental home. They were chosen based on price and they provided a detailed estimated within a couple of days. However, the paint job they did was horrible. There were numerous places missed and lots of paint droplets on shelves. The quote included painting the baseboards, which was not done. The quote also included the ceilings, which were only partially done. The project manager, Kevin, was somewhat argumentative but they did return and repainted missed areas. Between the initial painting and the return touchup, new carpet was installed. As a result, they only painted the top half of the baseboards. We were given a 10% discount for the problems and the office staff were friendly and helpful. But given the extremely poor quality of painting done, we will not use this company again.

"We are sorry that [Member Name Removed] is not happy with our paint services. We responded to the initial complaint and resolved all paint issues 2 days after the client called. Even after successful resolution of touchup items pointed out by the client, the client was still given a 10% discount. In this review there is also an indication from the client that the bottom half of the trim is not painted after new carpet install (which came after the paint). It is very unlikely that the bottom half of the trim is not painted, as the new carpet would not be that much shorter than initial carpet. Likely the client is seeing dust from carpet fibers on the trim, that can be easily wiped off. However, we would be happy to come back to resolve this or any additional issues. It is better for the client and for us to have the job done perfectly the first time, however, Vacant Interiors always responds promptly when any complaints are received. I feel the workmanship was shoty and the work man were rude.

"(member name removed) hired us to install flooring on 1/25/13. Our flooring crew showed up, but client did not have enough tile (client supplied material). (member name removed) rescheduled for 2/11/13. Our flooring crew showed up on time, but client wasn't ready. Crew left and client rescheduled for 3/8/13. Work was finally completed on 3/8/13. Several attempts were made to reach client to see if happy with work, and for payment. Finally we received an email response on 5/6/13 that was hard to understand. It complained about our employees moving things and other issues that are hard to understand, but did not complain about workmanship. It should be noted that our crew leader has been with us as a full time employee for 10 yrs and has always been extremely professional and competent. We responded on 5/7/13 asking to resolve any issues or problems, but never received a response from (member name removed). It is believed that this negative review on Angie's List on 8/26/13 is prompted by our recently filed lawsuit to collect payment for our work. Steve Pisano, President, Vacant Interiors, Inc."

They're very good. It was very quick. That was what was nice. They came in, took a look, gave me an estimate the same day in writing faxed to me, and they got it done very nicely and very quickly. It was a pretty good experience.

Their price was very competitive and their work was second to none. It
looked like a new house on the day we moved in! They finished in the time
they said they would and did it for what they said it would cost. We
will be using Vacant Interiors when we finish our basement. Bayar is
great and even came back for a few minor touch ups.

They were very responsive to our phone calls and told us exactly what
we needed to provide (tile, grout) and what they would provide. They 2
guys that did the job showed up on time and worked very hard. The end
result was great! They ripped out the carpet in the bathroom and tiled
it all in one day and then came back the next day to grout. Looks great
- couldn't ask for better!

On the summer of 2010 I had a home listed that had been a rental for almost a decade. It was not in great shape. It sat on the market for several months (and several price reductions) with no luck even though it was in a top area. After having convinced the out of state Sellers to renovate, Vacant Interiors completed a complete reconditioning of the property (paint, drywall, floor repair and refinishing, carpet installation, laminate flooring installation and handyman repairs) in just a few weeks. The property was under contract before the work was completed and closed within 30 days thereafter - at a price $17,000 higher than the last list price. The Sellers recouped their entire investment and got the property sold quickly.

The Vacant Interior guys were always punctual, did excellent work, met my deadlines, and were courteous and businesslike. I told them what I wanted (e.g. light fixtures) and they did the shopping and purchasing for me. We have built 2 homes and remodeled a 3rd home in the past and have dealt with a number of general contractors and their crews. Vacant Interiors was by far the best company we have dealt with; it was a stress-free experience for me. I would highly recommend them for all interior contract work. I will use them in the future as well.

Steve and his team did a great job painting our living room and hallway. They coordinated having the paint they used matched to a color I had chosen and took extra care in painting our coved ceiling.
