I had a tire go bad on my 1992 Civic VX hatchback (a sidewall bulge). It was under warranty, so I had it replaced with a new tire of the same brand and model at a local tire chain store. Unfortunately, the tire didn't seem to balance properly. When I took it back to the installer, they rebalanced it, but the problem continued. I took the car to Tune Tech and Ken Rackley for another opinion. He quickly figured out that the replacement tire was out of round, so no amount of balancing could fix it. I found it ironic that the tire installer wasn't able to figure this out, since tires are supposed are supposed to be their specialty. I took this information back to the tire installer, who replaced the tire a second time. Problem solved.
I'd used Tune Tech in past on my now 22-year old Honda to repair a worn out cooling/ac fan, and he did a great job on that. In the situation I really appreciated Ken's honest expertise in helping me out with an issue that his company gained nothing financially from. Though their prices are a bit higher than my liking, I'll continue to use Tune Tech, because they do quality work with true knowledge and honesty.

It went well, as always. I use Tune Tech for all my automotive services. You can't beat the personal service you receive from Ken and his staff. The price he charges for his service, I feel is very good. All service performed is explained very well.
