They sure did find evidence of mice in the crawlspace, and put out some poison. As far as I can tell, one treatment is all that was needed, but the service tech offered to come back immediately if I notice any further problems.

Tri-County set up some traps for the squirrels. They came back after a few days, to empty the traps and once the whole squirrel family was gone, they let us know that they were done and informed us that we needed to repair and cover up the holes the squirrels had made to get in through.
