We have used Sperr Maintenance several times for several projects and repairs big and small. Rod is reliable and trustworthy. He has worked really hard to make us happy.

Rod and his associate were outstanding. I had a staircase where the carpet was wrapped outside of the spindles. In order to add Vinyl Plank Flooring throughout my home, it was necessary to remove the spindles and railings, cut off the excess wood and add stringers to enclose the stairs. Complicated - yes. Rod was incredible. I will definitely hire him again.

We were very pleased with work performed and the end result. Proper steps were taken to protect the existing floors from damage. They were punctuation and there were no delays. They worked effectively and professionally as a team. The end result is exactly what we envisioned. Have already recommend Maintenance & Improvements to our neighbors.

They responded quickly to my request for a bid, and their price was in the middle of several bids. We chose them because they were able to start quickly, which they did. They were punctual and professional, took measures to protect flooring and other areas of the house from damage. They worked quickly and efficiently, getting the entire job done in 8 days of work over a 14 day period. They did a great job. Rod and his crew (especially Rafael) were courteous and great to work with. We were very pleased with the quality of work and how the room turned out.

I had hired Rod before but not on something this big. His prices are lower than others and I knew the quality of his work so I gave him a free hand on this one. He billed me as he went and came in under budget and on time. He selected most of the materials and installed them all correctly. I usually do most of the work myself and have extensive construction experience so I'm a bit picky. The house was under contract for full price the second day it hit the market.

Service was good.

He did a fine job, and during a discussion I was able to resolve another issue that other contractors were stumped by. The flashing he added should prevent future water damage, however, the new band boards are missing a piece of decorative trim and I would have liked for that to be added.

Repairs were within the estimate an completed in a timely manner.

All of the workers were very friendly and professional, however, I had a few issues that caused more work for me once they completed the jobs:
I sent a few photos of hte drywall from the ceiling and there were several lights that had gaping holes that surrounded them (for the recessed lighting). I was told that it must have been the electrician that put the holes there with bad cutting, but the recessed lighting and electrical work was put in prior to hiring this company to do the drywall. When I explained this, I was told to and quot;just use some spackle to cover the holes.....
I also found that the windows were not covered when the texture was sprayed onto the drywall and it is all over the windows and has proven to be very difficult to remove.

I would not hire this company again, which is a shame, since I have oh so much more work to get done!

I had a deadline to meet and Rod went out of his way to complete it on time. The vanity top arrived and was installed the day my before guests arrived so they could enjoy this beautifully remodeled bathroom. The workmanship was excellent, the workmen were professional, on time and pleasant to work with. I had three estimates and took the middle one.

Did a first rate job and did it at a very fair price. The finished product exceeded our expectations. Rod's crew members were meticulous, courteous and considerate. His subcontractors were also great. If I had another need I wouldn't call anybody else.

Friendly and professional service. I am very pleased with the result!

Professional and knowledgeable, Rod helped us pinpoint the trouble spots that will cause a water intrusion, fixed the intrusion we DID have, and pointed out some other worrying spots before they became real problems.  His staff was friendly and dependable, giving us complete confidence that our home was in good hands.

They came out on 10/20 and removed existing gutter on the second story of my house. They removed and replaced the fascia, painted to match my house. I had left over paint from earlier this spring. They did have to work around large bushes, but were very professional and cleaned up after they finished the installation.

Horrible experience, DO NOT recommend. They do not guarantee their work and surprise additional costs (after work was started and estimate agreed upon). Due to their negligence we had a significant leak in a bathroom where they completely replaced sink fixtures and plumbing. Spoke with owner Rod his response was " sorry it was missed." Thirty seconds into the phone call the owner, Rod, said "I am not going around and around with you" and hung up on me. After paying him $3362.86 we now have an additional $1500 cost in repairs due to their poor workmanship.

We used them last year and everything went great. This time, it was way too expensive for the services provided. We contacted them afterward about the cost of the service, but no compensation was offered, They charged us for 3 hours worth of work but only put in about 2.5 hours. We will not be using them in the future.

I found them through Angie’s List. The owner, Rod Sperr, is just very trustworthy and reliable. I’ve had about half a dozen of his guys in my house and they have been all very punctual and professional. His prices have been reasonable and I really trust him. He will refer me to other service providers for other work if needed.

Overall we are happy with the work. The initial tub installation was not done correctly and we had a leak. I notified the owner immediately and it was fixed, patched and painted within 3 days. The work was not perfect, but given the reasonable price, we were very happy. I would use them again definitely, but be sure to review work before and after with the owner.

They were good. He's versatile in doing a lot of other things. He was affordable. The job went well.
