"Yes, we acknowledge offering our services to Lazetta [Consumer Name Removed], just as to all our clients we have installed the sod for, we always follow the department of agriculture procedures just as we did on her project too. The procedure is to remove the old sod, treat the grounds, import new topsoil as much as needed, then install new sod and that is what we did on her project too. Originally, she had weeds and dead sod at the house, which we ripped and cleared the ground just to have the new sod installed. However, we advised her that you are treating your lawn, yet the entire neighborhood is facing the same weed problem and dying sod therefore, it may not be of much help but yes, your lawn will be new alive. The site team worked with Lazetta from groundbreaking to site handover stage by stage as she needed to know what process the team was following and each stage, she approved verbally prior to moving to the next phase now she having such claims raises questions if she approved wrongly in all phases!? Upon completion of her project, Lazetta and the team noticed some of her sprinkler heads were not working and 2 heads we damaged by team while prepping the grounds, so we had to have all the sprinklers heads repaired at no cost as we needed the new lawn to have water for it to grow. As the team completed the repair, the project was ready for handover and Lazetta was called to do the final inspection prior to paying which she did and acknowledged all was well then, she paid. Therefore, we are surprised that she has a claim on us that we installed different types of sod shades, yet all the sod was delivered at the same time, and she also saw and approved prior to having the team installed on the grounds. Second, about the weeds mentioned above, the entire neighborhood was and currently faced with the same weed problem and it’s commonly known that sometimes these weed seeds are transferred in the neighborhood by winds, something you cannot protect or avoid as a homeowner in such neighborhoods. She mentions that we promised to have a person check it yes, we did send out the person who affirmed that things we are as installed only that she expected the new installed sod to be dark green in few weeks just it can only be after it as established itself in the ground for months. Second, the person also noticed that her watering schedule where less something that might have let the grass receive water thus leading to a slow growth and as we handed over the project she was advised to increase her watering schedule times something we are not sure if she did as she worried more about the water bill. Now how will new grass survive if you water less!? Honestly this will lead to difference in color shade as she claims between sod getting just enough water and sod that is getting less water. As I conclude, I find that her claim is invalid but of course the powers of the final verdict is upon you to tell us as we installed the same Kentucky blue grass with the same shade and from the same farm and about the weeds we amended, treated the ground prior to new installations thus killing all the weeds and we went ahead and also repaired and sprinkler system at no cost just to have the new sod grow as needed, something she affirmed stage by stage as the works were being and also prior to her paying our invoice she inspected and affirmed everything was as she needed."
