Great, they had great ideas in regards to what I wanted, and so professional, love my house now

Robert's painting Company did a horrible job in our brand new home! We contracted Robert to paint the interior part of our new home, and at first I was satisfied with his work until he started to approach our deadline. The agreed job was to take four days, and it ended up being five. None of his crew showed up on one of the days. He seemed to rush the last day and his crew's quality decreased dramatically. The paint seam lines from the wall to the ceiling were not straight at all. Paint was dripped everywhere, all over the floors and counters. His crew painted over wall sockets, media panels and some switch and electrical face plates weren't even removed. When I confronted him on these discrepancies, he initially said he would fix them, but never did. I told him that the quality of work was not to our standard and that he wasn't going to get paid in full until the discrepancies were addressed. He became very frustrated and angry with me because I asked him to fix his crew's mistakes. He eventually attempted to remediate some of the problems, but did a very very poor job. I later found out that his crew's van caused about $175 worth of property damage to our pavers in the front. I called him up the next day to explain that he needs to fix all these issues, ASAP. I even sent him pictures of the property damage. He then told me that he would repair the damage pavers and come back to fix the paint problems. NEVER DID! A week passed and I called him up again to explain to him that if he did not fix what we had discuss, I was going to report him to the BBB and Angie's List. He then became very rude and belligerent, and then threw the race card at me. He then said "You are trying to take advantage of me because I am Mexican!". I ended all communications after that. It is obvious this guy doesn't run a reputable company and doesn't stand by his work, or his word. You can tell that he is new to the business based on his workmanship and how he handles his customers. I wouldn't have had a problem if he would have just did his job, and remediate the problems that he said he would fix. This guy is a scam!
