This guy will scam you! We hired him to paint the exterior of our house. He would show up for 1-2 hours at a time and then disappear for days or weeks. At one point, he claimed to have a family emergency and asked for a partial advance of the cost (having now read other reviews, it sounds like he’s used this story with other people). We paid him, which was a mistake. He stopped showing up. We tried to follow up multiple times. On top of that, the painting that he did complete was terrible quality. We should’ve fired him a lot sooner. We looked him up and he has a couple lawsuits against him in CO for breach of contract, so it seems like he’s done this before. Stay away and do not hire Gary Renfro!

He took advantage of my disability and convinced me to hire him. I never got a professional quote and he kept changing the amount of the quote. I paid $1750 up front and he quit after one day and took about half of the materials that I paid for with him. The materials were worth approximately $400. He cashed the check the next day. He will not return any of my calls or come back to my home.

"That all is a complete lie, I gave you 5 written estimates and you paid me after checking the work for $1750.00.I refused to do any other work for you because you are ill and keep changing your mind on the estimates.And all your material was left at your home I have two witness to that, one is your new neighbor.So stop trying to slander my name before I take you to court. I also took before and after pictures of all the work we did(we were there 3 days). gary."
