The work was completed in a day, the new test was completed and the job was out of our hair in less then 24 hours. There is a 10 day waiting period to get the permit. From the time we signed the contract the time work begins. But this is no fault of Reliant Environmental, it is a state/city issue.

Upon moving into a new home we were unfortunately surprised by a broken kitchen line that needed to be replaced underneath the concrete in our basement. However, since it was a home built in the 1960s it had linoleum sheet flooring. The plumbers needed testing before doing work and we needed some sheeting removed. Brian was very informative with the process, and patient with all of my questions and concerns. Best of all, he was very active in helping us secure a waiver from the 10 day waiting period which allowed the work to be done sooner. Brian and his crew were professional, timely, and did a great job with install so that it isolated the abatement from the rest of the house. They were also thorough in clean up of their work area. Additionally, he helped keep the project on track and was able to complete within the quoted time estimate. I’m very happy to recommend Reliance Environmental Services for Asbestos abatement projects. Dealing with Asbestos removal in a home is never a fun experience for the homeowner, but Reliance helps get you back the living space in your home with peace of mind.

Excellent. The owner Brian went above and beyond in providing pertinent information, offering recommendations that saved us a good amount of money, and then completing the project early! Brian was onsite with his team and everyone was very pleasant and professional. The job site was cleaner when they finished than before the project went down.

Brian showed up when he said he would, followed us down to the basement of our 1927 rental duplex, and was able to assure us we would not be exposing our new tenants to asbestos. Brian explained the reason the basement floor tiles were not an asbestos concern and educated us on asbestos in general. We were very relieved to learn that the floor tiles would not be a concern to the health of our new tenants. When I asked Brian how much we owed him for taking the time out of his day to inspect the floor, he said and quot;nothing.and quot; We were dumbfounded that he made a trip to just end up assuring us we were safe. If we ever DO have an environmental issue, Brian is the person we will call for help.

Brian and his team did an excellent job scraping the painted popcorn ceiling from my home. The ceilings were thoroughly scraped and there was minimal damage to the wall paint from the containment plastic. They were very prompt, and completed the job quickly. They are the best contractors I've worked with so far on this new home purchase, and I would highly recommend them for any ceiling texture removal in the Denver area. Normally I'm wary of any reviews that put an A in every category, but in this case I truly mean it.

Finding that we had asbestos in the orange peel of the entire first floor of our newly purchased home was quite a disappointing shock. After researching several companies on Angie's List, and educating myself on the pitfalls and red flags of asbestos abatement, I interviewed four companies. From the moment I met Brian I could tell that he was reliable, professional and really knowledgeable about that crazy, and often crooked, industry. Abatement is always a painful, and in our case, expensive process for the homeowner. However, Brian managed to alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with this expense. He was not the cheapest bid we received, nor was he the most expensive. But he assured us that the job would be done correctly, legally, and in a timely fashion. Despite two days of heavy winter storms, he and his employees showed up at the day and time promised and completed the abatement a day early. Brian was on site, and provided us with photos of the work in progress. The site was left in very clean condition. No one ever wants to have to call Brian, but if you find yourself in need of abatement, rest assured you will be in great hands.

From the moment Brian (the owner of the company) came to see the site, I had confidence that he knew his business very well. My questions were answered even before I could ask them. He explained the process and the materials clearly and well. He also assured me that state and federal requirements would be met and that a final inspection was included in the project and the price.
He and his workers were on the site for 4 days and I was given all the paperwork (invoice and final inspection report) when Brian
and I looked at the completed project.
I was pleasantly surprised at the final project. The house was immaculate, the popcorn ceiling was gone and the remaining ceiling surface was much smoother than I had expected.
It was an expensive project, however when I saw the materials needed to do this work safely and well, I am happy that I was able to hire such a good company and be assured that the I as well as the workers on the job would be in a safe environment.

Working with Brian and his team was a great experience. We were nervous about messing with the asbestos covered boiler in our basement and Brian walked us through the entire process. Brian was professional, prompt and very easy to work with. Our big old boiler was removed in 1 day and the team left our basement better than they found it. Overall is was a flawless process!

We had our asbestos popcorn removed in the entire house(2 floors,with cathedral ceilings). We put off the project for years,dreading it. As it turned out,this company was one of the best we have ever worked with. Brian,the owner was incredibly responsive,lightening fast on emails! He was very professional,punctual,knowledgable and a pleasure to work with. The crew cleaned up beautifully. There wasn't a speck of dust to be seen,and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to cleaning so that's saying a lot. I can't think of one negative about this company. They did an outstanding job.

We were first impressed by their honesty in pointing out to us that asbestos was not present around the entire house and reduced the qoute accordingly. Additionally, their pricing was fair and more reasonable than any other qoute we received. Both my husband and I felt very confident in Brian's extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of asbestos removal. He and his team of employees were very professional, courteous, punctual and did an excellent job in removing the asbestos popcorn. We were very concerned with the possibility of seeing residual dust in the area when we returned. However as Brian promised, the area was exceptionally clean without a trace of dust. He kept us informed of the details as the project was being done. He provided us with all the required paperwork and test results in a timely manner. After the 2013 flood in Boulder damaged our basement, we discovered asbestos tile under the carpet we removed. Before beginning to reconstruct our basement, we received four bids for removal of the tile. All the companies were reputable, maintained appropriate certifications, insurance and licensure. The bids ranged widely in cost and effort on behalf of the contractors. One provider bid on our job sight unseen and another was obviously put off to have to come to Boulder. Brian, owner of Reliance Environmental Services, was responsive and professional. He provided me with the information I needed and the best value for the service. His crew was skilled, hardworking and a pleasure to have in my home. The work was done safely and quickly. Now I can move forward to get my home back. Thank you Brian, Joseph and Andy!

I called Brian after damage was done to an asbestos floor during the Boulder flood. He warned me before he came by that they were already booked out for several weeks. But when he came by to give an estimate and saw the severity of the damage, he squeezed us in over the weekend. Very professional and would highly recommend.

Could not have gone more smoothly! His crew showed up when they said they would, he had the inspector from the health department already on standby if he finished that day. The ceiling was removed and cleared the test. I was completely impressed with his follow up with pictures of the project and all.

He answered the phone on a Saturday (which surpurised me) and was able to come over for an estimate on Tuesday and begin work 2 days later. He patiently answered all of my questions. The work area was cleaner than when he started.

Brian and his staff were on time, friendly, hard working, and completed the job efficiently. They came back at no charge to pick up extra duct removed later during the new furnace installation. They also immediately arranged for final inspection.
