Radon Mitigation of the Rockies

Buyer Beware!!! Once the installation is complete, you're on your own. I own a digital radon detection device. It's been over a month since the installation and the radon levels are above recommended levels (4/20/23 4.4, 4/21/23 5.2, 4/22/23 4.2, 4/28/23 6.4). I didn't monitor it every day but today it's at 4.3. When I contacted John the owner on 4/19/23, he suggested two options. 1. Install a larger fan for $150 which he said may or may not work and 2. Call some company to come out to run a scope to see if there is a blockage. He couldn't suggest a company because he didn't know any. The one option he didn't offer which I suggested, was to have one of his technicians come out to take a look at it. Needless to say I am not a happy customer. I paid $1,300 for something that doesn't work with no recourse. I will be contacting the BBB though.

Working with John was great. He took the time to fully explain everything to me and again to my family. He even offered to review the fan that was installed in a family member's house and recommend a better one even though the house is out of his work zone. BTW, the fan he installed was SO QUIET. The work was done in less than 1/2 day, looks GREAT, he cleaned up everything inside and outside and we thoroughly had a great experience with him. We highly recommend him - he's very patient with questions and the work quality is great.

I couldn't be more pleased with the radon mitigation service John provided. The estimate was accurate-no surprises. He was prompt, efficient and quick- it took just over 2 hours and that's including answering all my questions (and I had a lot of questions!). John's customer service was excellent and the results have so far exceeded my expectations. I am very glad I chose RMR.

I worked with John to get our mitigation system installed. We had a bit of a weird situation with the sump pit access being restricted by the basement walls. John had a quick solution and was able to work around our issue. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if this issue arises in future homes. Thank you John!

Fast service and super easy install.

Even painted the piping to match my house (so that it blended in using my paint). Clean-up could have been a little more detailed. Now I am just waiting for the retest to see if all this was worth it.
