FIRST OF ALL, I WAS TOLD THAT MY VACUUM HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY. WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN TO ORECK FOR SERVICE THEY TOLD ME EVERYTHING WAS COVERED EXCEPT ONE THING AND THAT HAPPENED TO BE THE ONE THING THAT NEEDED FIXED ON MINE. THEN, TWO MONTHS LATER AND WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY VACUUM AGAIN, BUT THE BRUSH ROLLER.

I CERTAINLY LIKE TO HAVE HAPPY CUSTOMERS, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT ME @ 303-587-8667 (CELL) I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT. WHILE ORECK''S DO HAVE GREAT WARRANTIES, THEY ARE NOT LIFETIME WARRANTIES. FOR HOME USE, THE UPRIGHT VACUUMS HAVE A BASE 3 YEAR WARRANTY WITH A 10 YEAR HOUSING GUARANTEE. THE UPRIGHTS GO ALL THE WAY UP TO A 21 YEAR WARRANTY. BASICALLY, THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY ARE WEARABLE ITEMS LIKE BELTS, BAGS, LIGHT BULBS AND THE BRUSH ROLLER WHICH HAS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY COVERING IT. THERE ARE OTHER LIMITATIONS DESCRIBED IN THE OWNERS MANUAL, BUT THOSE ARE THE BASICS. AGAIN, I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY MISCOMMUNICATION AND WOULD LIKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YOU A HAPPY CUSTOMER. TURNED IN THE MACHINE WITH NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED. SERVICEMAN WAS VERY FRIENDLY. MACHINE WAS SERVICED AND READY WHEN PROMISED. MACHINE WAS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION AND NOW WORKS PERFECTLY.
