As a small business owner I have been "burned" more then once by so called "IT Professionals" who provide sub-par service and charge over inflated prices to provide services and products they state you need (but you don't). When you look in hindsight you clearly know that their only interest was to line their own pockets vs. provide you with a quality service or experience.
It is for this reason that I came to avoid reaching out for IT help at all costs.
With that background, it was very discourging to return from a recent vacation to discover that my wife's computer would not boot due to what it was displaying as a "Low Battery" issue. After serveral attempts at self repair I came to realize I would sadly have to reach out for IT help. I prepared myself mentally for another "rip-off" as is so prevalent in this industry.
After extensive searching on Angie's List, the Better Business Bureau and friend referrals I opted to reach out to NRDesignPC. Compared to the other options they appeared (from the sources I had access to) to offer the highest level of professional IT training at rates that might be affordable.
Timidly (based off my past experiences) I reached out to Fernando (aka "Nando") not knowing what to expect. I received a prompt and professional reply back and based off that communication I decided to proceed.
Nando arrived punctually (which in itself scored "points" with me) and quickly diagnosed my wifes computer system as being a bad hard drive that would need to be replaced. He also examined my laptop to discover the cable issue that was leading to my Internet issues and he replaced that. All of this was done at no cost.
Nando provided a quote (of $160.00 USD) to replace the hard drive and, upon my acceptance took the system to repair. He advised he would have the system back in a few days.
Less then a day later Nando called to advise that he had discovered that he could "Save" me money by just fixing the drive to skip over some bad sectors in it vs. replacing the drive outright. As promised a few days later the system was fixed (and been cleaned and had its security software replaced) - all at lower cost then had originally been quoted!
Upon returning my wife's computer he then also cleaned my laptop and replaced it's security. All the while he consulted me "Out" of unnecessary add ons which I was asking him about. 
Unlike past IT people I have used ( who would inflate thier hours by staying as long as possible as they supposedly discovered more and more "issues") Nando was quick, efficient and right to the point. Throughout the process he valued your time and took care of the matters at hand as quickly as could be done while performing the necessary services at the absolute highest skill levels.
Nando is the first IT professional I would actually call a true Professional. I felt very safe and comfortable with him, and truly felt that he had MY best interests at heart the whole way through the process. Truly astounding based on my past experiences with others in his field.  
It is honestly a huge relief to me to have found Nando and discovered an IT professional who is in fact highly professional, and whose actual interest is what will best meet the needs of the end consumer (at best cost for that consumer)  vs. just serving himself.
That said, I would HIGHLY recommend Nando and his company NRDesignPC. I persoanally am thrilled that I have found him and have happily added him to my list of trusted and preferred suppliers that I WILL use again in the future. I give this company a very solid "Two Thumbs UP!!"
