Nancy's Discount Window Decor

I had Nancy do the windows on our Parker home in 1999 and we loved what she did then. I actually ordered everything prior to our move to CO and my wife was not yet in CO when Nancy came out to the home. Believe it or not, my wife loved everything we ordered and it all served us well for 14 years at that home. We recently moved to Franktown, CO and called Nancy. And as expected, everything went well and we have beautiful window coverings now. My wife is very happy. Working with Nancy is very convenient. She knows her products and has a lot of expertise around what would work in various circumstances and what options could be considered, etc. We would use Nancy again should we move again someday. She is a professional. Her installer is also a pro and was a joy to work with.

I received a bunch of free estimates from various businesses with the same product and Nancy's came in the lowest (although not far off from the pack). I was quoted for purchase of the blinds and installation which came out to $1600 for three top-down-bottom-up cellular shades to cover a large living room window, one large top-down-bottom-up cellular shade in my guest bedroom, a smaller top-down-bottom-up shade in my master bedroom and vertical blinds to cover my sliding glass door leading out to my balcony. The verticals were not Hunter Douglas, but the cellular shades were single-cell Hunter Douglas. Nancy was polite and vivacious. She had good ideas, but did not try to sell me products or features that I was not interested in purchasing. She listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and helped pick out textures and colors that would match the color schemes I had planned to paint the rooms. The first subcontractor she sent was Arnie, who I would not recommend. He came out to measure and one month later when the blinds came in he told me he would not guarantee his work if I did not install a wood plank to my concrete ceilings (where we were going to anchor the blinds). I called Nancy about it and she was very professional and listened to my concern and immediately hired a new person to perform the work, Rick. I was glad I didn't have to haggle with her about price or replacing the guy. So that was a blip in the process, but easily fixed with Nancy. Rick came and installed my blinds with no problem and did a great job. One of the blinds did not fit my window as it was measured incorrectly by Arnie, but it was sent back to Hunter Douglas and fixed in two weeks at no additional cost to me. Now that they are installed, the blinds look great! This job had it's problems, but what I appreciated was Nancy's flexibility to fix the bumps.
