I don't think I can write a review positive enough to describe what an amazing real estate agent Cindy Dassinger is. When we called to tell her that we were looking to sell our home, she promptly scheduled a meeting to see our home. She did everything a real estate agent should do in a consultation, including giving us comps to help us decide how much to sell for. After signing our contract to sell she gave helpful staging suggestions for a quick sale, printed detailed flyers and keeping the yard sign stocked with them, and aggressively requested feedback from the agents that showed our property so we would understand what was happening at every step. She even printed small notes which she posted around the house to point out the best features of the home we were trying to sell.
On the buy side, we were extremely picky about house layout and location, but Cindy was incredibly patient with us and even encouraged us to see MORE homes before making our decision. It is clearly very important to Cindy that her clients get exactly the home they are looking for, no matter how much time she has to spend helping them. When we did find our new home, she wrote and signed the contract on her wedding day. She could have handed this off to a colleague at Metro Home Finders but she was dedicated to helping us personally.
We then had some hiccups in our sell side that put our new home purchase in jeopardy. The nature of the problems allowed us to keep our buyers' earnest money. This is rare, but normally when it happens the agent splits the money with the homeowners. Cindy allowed us to keep it all and helped us use it to negotiate with our new home's sellers, enabling us to keep our contract to buy without any major expenses out of pocket.
At every turn she provided her advice, but when we wanted to do something different she was not even the slightest bit resistant or insulted that we had made a different decision. She understands that she represents you and while she's happy to tell you what she thinks based on her experience, ultimately she understands that they are all your decisions to make and she'll back you up when you make them. She also knows a handful of contractors that can perform work on your home for extremely affordable prices, and routinely works with a very reasonable lender with the lowest closing costs that I know exist.
Overall, Cindy's communication, determination, honesty, and expertise are second to none. I can't imagine any agent doing a better job than she did. Absolutely superb. And oh yeah - did I mention her rates are the best in the business?
