King Star Heating and Air

I actually signed up I think for a service plan where they come out and I haven't used them since. It's my fault, not there's. I haven't called them. I bought a service plan, so it was about $300 and it was supposed to be for 3 years and like twice per year or something like that. I haven't had them back but I need to do that. Very responsive. I had a choice home warranty that recommended them. I want to say they came out right away, but I don't really recall.

Worker very friendly helpful but not pushy

They are wonderful. I have a contract that I paid for two years ago. I will be renewing it in October. They are an "A" across the board. I have nothing bad to say about them.

He did a good job on that and then he came back and started it up for the winter. Then in the spring he came back and shut it off. I give him a high five. The price was right around everybody else’s. I guess it was a fair price. I think the quality was real good. I thought his punctuality was great. He brought another man with him and he was teaching him what to do and everything. You know he was doing his best there.

Well it was still winter, we were without a heater, he was able to get us scheduled in and actually get in and get it replaced a couple days during winter. For me it seems like a long time without heat but it was only a couple days.But they managed to get the equipment her and got it installed, it was only 4 days or so. Because they put it in the middle in the winter, they didn't turn on the connections with the air condition. We had one appointment that was scheduled once it was over, we had some conflict they didn't come, we had to end up calling back and reschedule, but we got it taken care of.  If anything I would say proper coordination of rescheduling of appointment. 

We had an excellent experience with King Star Heating and Air. My husband and I returned from vacation to find that our AC wasn’t working! We were very fortunate that King Star had an open the next day. Benny and Walt, were helpful and efficient. They quickly figured out that the blower motor needed to be replaced. Benny explained that they would need to have the motor over-nighted and that they would return the next day. He gave me an upfront price that included all parts and labor. He said the only additional cost may be cleaning the coil. They came the following day, and quickly replaced the motor, cleaned the coils and did a quick check on our AC unit. Benny was able to give us a discount on the cleaning since we had to buy a new motor. The price was very reasonable for all the work done. Benny and Walt were friendly and professional. I never felt like they were trying to scam or overcharge me. We will definitely use King Star again to service our furnace in the fall.

It went great! The AC is located on the roof so Benny had to climb up there on a ladder. When he got up there, he found the disconnect switch was turned off, so he turned it on. This is the first time I used King Star Heating and Air. I am very impressed by their honesty; even my dog liked Benny. He's a nice, honest guy. I will definitely use this company again!

Couldn't be happier. Great and quick service with pleasant employees. Benny was here within an hour and the air conditioner was working again.

It went great, Benny is a great personable guy, and doesn't push stuff or services you don't need. I'm looking forward to having King Star replace my heating and AC unit when it eventually dies (it's a very old system)

We have a 22 year old gas fireplace that has never burned properly, leaving soot on the glass almost immediately after cleaning. Benny is the first person I've had look at it that took the time to diagnose the issue and work to fix it. He even came back at no charge to readjust it when it wasn't exactly right. Fast response and on time. Very professional and friendly. We liked the service so much that we signed up for King Star's furnace maintenance plan.

Benny gave us several different options up front for our new system and took plenty of time to explain the choices. He worked with us to get just the right system for our needs and our budget. The install crew was courteous, efficient, and cleaned everything up before they left. Benny then came back a few days later to check everything out and make sure it was working to our satisfaction. We got several bids for this job, and King Star had the best combination of professionalism, equipment, and pricing.

They sent someone over the same day even though it was a Saturday. They had my old furnace running by the end of the visit. They replaced my thermostat which was not turning on the furnace properly. Then they sold me a reasonably priced maintenance plan so that my older model furnace and ac would last a little longer. They gave me a lot good information while they were here. I will definitely be seeing them again.

My Mother-in-Law's AC went out recently... she contacted her "regular" service provided that she had used the past couple of years.  When the Tech showed up they informed her that she needed to replace the entire unit due to corrosion.  Now this is the Company that had serviced and conducted "Maintenance" on the unit the past two years and installed a Furnace in September of 2015, still trying to figure out where the disconnect went on there term of Maintenance? Well this company advised her that a new unit would be $5000+ just for parts.  This is where I (Son in-law) stepped in.  I told my mother in law that she had a home warranty service and that I was going to contact them vs her us her "regular" provider which evidently didn't notice corrosion a couple months ago when he serviced the AC / Furnace?  

The Warranty Company provided us the number for King Star and we contacted them immediately.  The Tech answered the phone and said that he was in the area and would stop buy with in a couple of hours... now keep in mind this is on a Saturday.  The service tech arrived within two hours, diagnose the condition, contacted the Warranty Company with his diagnoses which was to replace the unit due to corrosion caused from sentiment buildup... (yea.. last provider "Serviced & Maintained" the unit the past couple of years).  Warranty Company advised the Tech that the warranty would not cover replacement because of the condition caused from "Lack of Maintenance."  That’s an entire different story that i wish not to get into.

King Star Heating & AC quoted my Mother-In-Law $3800 for not only the parts but Labor and a year of Maintenance on the AC & Furnace. (Reg $169/yr)  WOW... that sounds like a GREAT Price... and after Research.. it is a GREAT PRICE!!!  Where do I sign!!!

The King Star Tech said he would be back Tuesday to install everything.

The Tech show on time and had ALL the components to install without having to leave or comeback another day to finish.  He worked VERY hard and had it operational with in 5 hours.

I personally talked to the Tech on the phone who sound VERY compassionate, professional and understanding, as my Mother-In-Law is a elderly lady and can be pretty gullible.

He was excellent! He spent 3 years training people on how to do these installs. He's 53 years old and loves his work. He's very responsible about his work and happy to share what he is doing at the time. I'd highly recommend both him and his company.

I found King Star Heating and Air Conditioning in Aurora, Colorado to be very fair and honest in their dealings with me on my new air conditioner.  Everything was explained in detail from the different types and styles of air conditioners down to the prices and benefits and warranties offered on all the units.  The technician stopped by the first evening on his way home and then kept in constant contact with me throughout the process.  He arrived on time, was careful about my home, dressed in a uniform for the company and was exceptionally pleasant, congenial and educational (for me) at all times.  I would highly recommend this company and my technician.

Benny was very knowledgeable and professional. They arrived on time and completed the job in one day. Which was a miracle. I have an older home and with most repairmen one thing leads to another and another and another. The price was reasonable, as well. I got several quotes.
