JARED GALLERIA OF JEWELRY

This is actually for the Lakewood location. We had a custom wedding band made by them in 2005 to add to a family engagement band. We purchased two diamonds at Jared for the wedding band. They were not friendly during the creation of the ring and kept telling us it couldn't be done the way we wanted it. I should have stopped going there then. Eventually they made it like we wanted it, but left the bottom part of the ring that wraps around the engagement band unfinished. Every time we went to get it cleaned, we felt that we were given the cold shoulder. A few years later, we purchased another, larger diamond to replace the diamond that was in the engagement band already. So all diamonds on the ring were purchased from Jared. When we bought this diamond they had to make a new mount to make it fit. They said that if we brought the ring to them every 6 months for inspection/cleaning and adjustments, they would cover the diamond if it fell out. They also told us that any repairs to the mount would be free. Now when we go in there, they charge us for repairs to the mount telling us that the mount is not theirs since it is on a ring that they did not create. We talked to a manager who told us the same thing. I feel that they will tell you anything to get the sale and then they do not follow through on their promises. Customer service is terrible. Buyer beware!
