Mr. Zekany stated that he charges by the hour. He estimated the job at 2-21/2 hrs. with the security light taking the largest chunk of time at 1-11/2 hrs. I trusted him to work in my home unsupervised, big mistake. When I returned home I expected the work to be finished in the estimated time and done correctly. I was billed for 21/2 hrs work even though the biggest project estimated at an hour, had been canceled. One set of shelves was not even attempted. The latches were not spray painted and hung crooked. The handles were mounted with two different colors of bolts. The hose was hung without an essential piece and is not functional. The tracks that were mounted were done so with large black screws; my walls are white! He hastily stuck 3 pine boards on the brackets for shelves although they were 1/4" short and one was defaced with permanent marker. The only thing Mr. Zekany did to satisfaction was move a light. His attitude is defensive and condescending and is very unpleasant to be around. I offered to pay him for all the work and materials up to two hours ( already twice his estimate) which he refused. He has now taken a lien against my property which i will fight. His execution was rushed and sloppy at best. I am having to redo all of the projects. His prices are high and certainly not worth it. I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere.

Well he pulled up with a trailer, unloaded his tools, rolled out some drop cloths, and when right to work, he did ask for half of the money as a deposit. But thats ok, he gave me a photo book of some of his work to look over, and wow! That sold me right there, but I just let him continue with his bid. He was in uniform. Looked clean & neat, I was taken back. This guy was great !
