I am the sole owner operator of a full service salon. I am a MASTER STYLIST and COLOR EXPERT with over 30 years experience. I take the time to listen and hear what you are saying. I've been hairdresser-hopping for years, but I think I've finally found the one I will stay with! Donna was great...so friendly and I felt immediately comfortable. She did a fantastic job on my hair, and gave me some great tips on getting it more healthy. First time in a long time that I knew immediately I would be back. Highly recommend!

I’ve been looking for a hairdresser for the last three years since I moved here, and I found one!! Donna is amazing. She doesn’t mind looking I pictures and she listens to you. My color has been amazing, it has never stayed in like it has and it’s been four weeks. She really knows what she is doing. Her shop is in her house and she gives you her undivided attention. The price is right. I would highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Donna. She is a true professional, continually educating herself with new techniques and styles. I have never felt rushed in her chair and it is so nice to not have the distractions you would have in a store front salon. She listens to what you may want as a client, but also makes great suggestions, when needed.

Donna is awesome! My hairdresser moved after 15 years so I was very nervous about finding another stylist. Because of the rave reviews on Angie's List, Donna was my first call. I went to see her today and am so glad that I did. She is truly a master at what she does. She actually fixed a hair cut that I'm been trying to get my regular stylist to do. The color is so much better than before. I am over the moon that I found someone who enjoys what she does and it comes through with the care she gives her clients. I'd rate her A+ if I could. I've made my appointment for next month and then I will book as many as her book allows.

I have had better hair cut but overall I wasn't very happy with the page boy look. I felt rushed from the chair because there was another customer waiting. She seemed distracted from fixing my hair. The hair cut cost $35 and I gave her $40. and she never gave me my change.

We were both exceptionally pleased with our haircuts. Donna is a true "master stylist". She was able to fix a poor hair cut from another salon. My fine thin hair is difficult to cut well and she did a beautiful job. We both wear short hair styles, but I am certain that she can cut any style very well.

Donna is the best. I first found 'Hair by Donna' on Angie's list in Dec. 2014. After living out-of-state for four years, I was extremely worried about finding a stylist who would listen and cut my hair the way I wanted it to be cut and who could help make the little hair I had look nice. Donna's Angie's list reviews were outstanding and when I read that she listens to you and cuts your hair exactly the way you want it to be cut, I knew 'Hair by Donna' was perfect for me. Donna gave me her professional opinion and ideas, but it was totally up to me to make the decision on what I wanted. She has helped me find ways to thicken my hair in areas where it was falling out so now I'm not embarrassed and do not think that people focus only on my hair. In fact, now I want people to notice how nice my hair looks. You will greatly enjoy working with Donna. She is personable, caring, relaxed, fun and committed to making you feel happy and beautiful. Everything went very well and I have already made my next appointment with Donna. My hair is baby fine, thin and thinning more and I didn't know how to correctly handle it to make it look nice. I'm letting it grow out and Donna gave me great suggestions on how to best do that. She cut my hair so that it looks nice while it's growing to a longer length. I had no idea how much hair I was losing by not using a detangler and by using a brush instead of a comb. Donna also showed me how to style my hair using only a comb instead of a brush, curling iron, or blow dryer as that damages my fine hair more. I love how my hair looks now and can't wait to see how it is when it grows out more. I recently moved to Denver and was nervous about trying to find a new person to do my hair. I decided to go to Hair by Donna because of recommendations I found on Angie's list because others said Donna carefully listens to what you want, gives great suggestions to get your hair to do what you want, and she doesn't do what she wants like many hairdressers do. I am so happy with the results and recommend Donna without hesitation. Call her now! Don't wait!

Donna does a great job. I've been working with her over the last year to take my hairstyle from a shorter length to a longer style and she has done a super job working with my cut and color over that transition. She also has a reasonable pricing and with her Salon adjacent to her home she has flexible hours. I usually end up at her salon at the end of a work day. She also cuts my 82 year old father's hair.

I woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and scared myself. I contacted Hair by Donna. My hair was a mess. She was so open and flexible. I ran into car trouble, and she worked around it. When I got to her shop, it was very clean and nice. She gave me an amazing hair cut, and colored my hair. It's to die for. I am very pleased to be her customer. She gave me a package and an Angie's List discount. Very reasonable price.

Fantastic! Donna is personable and easy to work with. I give my in put and she give me hers. By following her suggestions my hair looks nice, has body, and doesn't look like I have a little bit of hair as I do. My haircut is easy to take care of yet fashionable. I heart Donna. I have been seeing Donna for about 10 months now, so I feel I can give a very fair and detailed review. The last stylist I went to before Donna had ruined my hard earned, long length with a big hair 80's style. I swear I looked like Joan Jett in her "I Love Rock and Roll" video. All because I asked that stylist for "more volume". I was forced to lop off my hair into a short bob to fix that tragedy of a cut. I also had zebra type stripes across my head because she was constantly adjusting my color and trying new dyes on me. So I finally gave up on her and began my search for a new stylist. Thank goodness I found Donna on Angie's List. She is a one person shop, so all the reviews are for her alone and they are all good. I contacted her and was able to schedule an appointment within a couple days.
When I sat in Donna's chair for the first time, she could tell I'd been scarred by my last stylist. Donna was very patient and LISTENED carefully to what I wanted. I can't stress this enough. Donna actually LISTENS to what I want. She also asked lots of questions to make sure she understood and then set out to get me pretty again. Since seeing Donna, I can now say that my hair is growing out beautifully and is the lovely dark brown I want (without stripes). I don't know how she does it, but whatever color she uses on me makes me look like I have beautiful lowlights. And the best part, no 80's hair! She knows what will look good on me and what won't. I feel confident asking her for suggestions on tweaking the color or shape of my hair. She's been doing hair for a long time and it shows. She's confident in her knowledge, takes her work seriously, and the results prove it. She's very friendly and professional. It is such a pleasure to sit in her chair. I always get excited when I look at the calendar and see my hair appointment coming soon because it means a guaranteed positive and relaxing experience.
So to all of you sad ladies suffering from chopped up, multicolored hair, get yourself to Donna's. She will make things right and beautiful again, and KEEP you looking that way.

I am so excited about finding Donna on Angie's List. I am new to the area and was worried about who to choose. Donna was so accommodating and actually did my hair the evening I called for the appointment. With the Holidays right around the corner I was so impressed she went out of her way to help me. I just can't say enough about Donna. She was so professional, friendly, precise, and caring. She was magic with my hair color and amazing with the cut. I love it and will never go to anyone else.

Donna is great, very personable, very professional and efficient, and extremely nice. It was my first visit and I will definitely return, in fact, I have my next appointment scheduled already. She did a really nice cut and set, something I was most concerned about after leaving a longtime hairdresser when I moved here, the pedicure and the eyebrow waxing and tinting came out perfect. I am very satisfied and recommend her services highly.

Donna is a professional and seems to know what she is doing. I am very fussy when it comes to my hair cuts and being in a new state on assignment, I didn't know where to go. While I am here, I will definitely go back. I have been to a couple of chop shops in the area over the past year, but this is the first very good hair cut I have received in the area.

It went great. I was looking for a small salon that would treat me like an valued customer and Donna's Salon fit the bill perfectly. I was actually at the salon for LESS time than I had planned, all because I was the only customer that Donna was working with. She was able to spend a lot more time asking about my hair, my likes and dislikes, my color and what I did and did not want her to do, and also took the time to show me different shades of my hair color so that I could be sure of what it would look like when she was finished. The fact that she blew dry my hair and then checked to see what my previous highlights looked like was a surprise, and I was really pleased that Donna seemed to care more about how I wanted my hair to look than about upselling me on highlights that I didn't need. All in all, it was a great, personal experience. I felt pampered for almost two hours and it was great.

Overall: Excellent!
Donna is amazing. Couple of things I would like you to know:
1. Most people think my natural hair color is Red (which is a very hard color to have look natural), due to the way Donna blends the red and brown tones. When I first came to Donna, I was just highlighting my brown hair blond like everyone else and Donna suggested my red color and I love it!
2. During my first visit and consultation with Donna she asked me why I was paying my old hairdresser extra for a perm. Donna has the knowledge and ability to cut hair in order for the natural waves and curls to fall perfectly.
3. I really have the highest praise for DonnaResponse from Hair by Donna

Donna has been doing my hair for almost 30 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is very professional, experienced and punctual, and charges very reasonable rates compared to other salons. I love the relaxing atmosphere at her home salon and I prefer going there rather than to a noisy salon.
