"We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the process. While the order of the cleaning process seemed unorthodox, there was a reason for it. The condition of several windows didn't allow us to clean them normally. When screens are hard to remove we tilted the windows in as designed for cleaning. Our policy is not to force removal of screens to prevent damage. Also as explained to the homeowner the windows were not in the best condition: broken seals that allowed moisture and debris in between the panes, hard water/mineral deposits (basement windows), and painted glass. Unfortunately, due to communications breakdown we were never given a work order to know what was to be done. The owner of Merry Maids franchised mistakenly mentioned that the job was for $185 dollars before our fee was taken out; therefore we assumed it was a basic clean. When we spoke to the franchise owner we told them we were not going to submit a invoice to him. He subsequently mentioned that he in turn would not charge the customer. If you were charged for the service I would take it up with them. We never bad mouth them; just mention since the new owners took over we never received a work order. We have since decided to go a separate path and no longer sub for them. My wife/co-president went out to the truck because she felt it was an unsafe environment. We were treated insolently, and decided it was best to take our leave before things escalated."
This was my second time using Expert Window Cleaning, the first time being a year ago. My windows had been much neglected before the first visit and I couldn't believe how different the world looked out of sparkling clean glass. The work was top-notch. Alex was very punctual, professional, and very reasonably priced. As this is the slow season I got on the schedule right away. I'm glad to now see them on Angie's list. I will definitely be calling them back again each year.
