Delivery Service
Eagle was to deliver furniture to my house. I had to take the day off work to be available 8 am - 5 pm. They said they would call 1/2 hour before delivery. At 4 the driver called me. When I called back 3 minutes later, no answer. When I was home 1/2 hour after the call, no one showed up. The driver later said he attempted delivery at 4 but I missed the delivery window. He claimed he called at 3:30, but I have no record of that. I told Eagle I can't take another day off work for the delivery. They said they only deliver between 8-5, but I could leave a note authorizing delivery when I wasn't there. This was another lie. The next day I got a call from someone else at Eagle who told me that I had to be present for delivery. I had to get the furniture company involved to pressure Eagle to do a drop-off. Today they called again to cancel - our previous conversations scheduling the delivery for today were also a lie. Who knows if the delivery will ever actually happen?
