Creative Faux Finishes

When I called Josie to come look at the walls, she brought her portfolio.  The work she and her husband, Bob do was beautiful.  I was very impressed with her suggestions.  At first I was concerned at how dark it would make the room look, but Josie reassured me that the colors she would use would give the room warmth.  She immediately put me at ease.  They arrived right on time and explained what they were putting on and showed me the colors.  They did a beautiful job!  I'm very pleased with their work and would recommend them to all my friends and family.  They even moved my dining room furniture back in after they were done!

I have been using Josie since 2001 when we moved into our new home.  She first painted a Winnie the Pooh mural in our baby room.  I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she painted a mural beyond my wildest expectations.  My son is 11 now and I moved him into another room, which Josie and Bob have painted, so that I would not have to paint over Josie's work.  This room is now my craft room and I love to work in it surrounded by her beautiful work.  Over the years Josie and Bob have pretty much painted every room in our house.  They also worked closely with our basement contractor to coordinate painting while giving me ideas along the way.  Another special project that Josie did was to Josie paint glow in the dark stars on our ceiling in our movie room.   Each member of the family picked out a constellation that we wanted painted and Josie worked hours turning our movie room ceiling into the night sky.  Our movie room is a highlight with friends and family, all who comment on Josie's work!
 I just recently had them back in the house to help touch up our trim and some bookshelves.  Josie and Bob have become almost like family.  They have the code to enter our house and many times work on projects when we are on vacation - which our cats like too because even though Josie is allergic she gives them lots of love.  I will continue to use Josie when new projects arrive and I always refer her to friends who may be looking for work on their house.

Josie came out to take a look at our new home and discuss our thoughts.  She gave us her impressions as well.  A couple of weeks later, as promised, she came back with color boards, etc...for us to consider.
We agreed with everything she had recommended and picked a date for her and Bob to start. 
They are always prompt, professional and courteous.  There is never an issue with regard to their concern about taking care of your furnishing, clean up, etc...  They go out of their way to prepare the walls, etc...and are very detail oriented.
This is the second time that we have used them and will use them again in the future.  We were recommended to them by old neighbors and have since recommended them to friends as well. 
This time we did not do any faux finishes...just plain colors.  We did use them for faux finishes and stenciling, etc...previously, and would recommend them for that as well.
Additionally, we had them re-finish two decorative bar stools that no longer fit our colors, etc...  They completely overhauled them and stenciled a pine cone scene on top.  They turned out perfect!

They were very professional, showed up on time, finished on time and in budget. Their work was beautifully done! I have had lots of compliments.
