Great, Jim is knowledgeable and detail oriented and thorough in his work. After some landscaping was completed he went back around and fixed the configuration to ensure that the new plants were still getting watered appropriately.

We have used Centennial Sprinkler for the last three years, for both start up as well as shut downs as well as the installation of  a watering system for a flower bed. The owner Jim has always been reliable and very honest. The first time we had him come out was after we purchased our house. My husband thought some things needed to be replaced, but Jim advised us that all that was needed was adjustments and took a lot of time to explain our system and the programming to us. 

I had no idea what happened until the following spring when I hired another Angie's List contractor to start my sprinklers. He informed me that due to an improper blowout there was a major crack in the system at the turn-on point. He recommended Smitty's to me since they warranty their work. I called them. (it took over a month to get an appt.) On 6-28-13 a technician from Smitty's came to my home and verified verbally and in wiring that my system had been improperly winterized resulting in significant damage. He advised me that due to the nature of the damage I definitely should contact the company that did the fall shut off.  I received a written estimate of damage as well as paid for the service call. I immediately called Angie's list and discussed what happened. They advised me to contact the company prior to  filing a complaint. I called on 6-28-13 and left a detailed message  on Centennial Sprinkler's voicemail. It is now 5 days later and I still have not been contacted by the company. My lawn is completely dead as a result of this issue.

My neighbor recommended Jim. We called thinking we needed fairly extensive work on our aging sprinkler system. He came out the next day, found the problem (a broken wire from my husband driving a fence post into the ground!). After repairing the wire, he did some other checks on the system and installed a new control box, which is much easier to program than the 26+ year old original. Less than two hours later, we had a working system, all for less than $200! Jim was very knowledgeable and professional; we would definitely call him again and recommend him to friends and neighbors.

He comes exactly when he says that he will and does the work. He is very prompt and returns phone calls as soon as he can.
