CARPET RENUE

I called Carpet Renue to scheduled service after being quoted $150. To my surprise some other company arrived to clean the carpet. Due to the nature of my situation moving in the next day, I let this other company clean the carpet. I feel the owner, John should have advised me of his business practice of being nothing more than a service broker as my efforts using Angie's List to find a good carpet cleaning company failed. When the carpet was finished, the crew quoted me around $200. I debated with them as I was quoted $108/room + 10.95 Scotch Guard per room less 5% Angie's List discount as advertised. They borrowed my calculator to do the math and never returned it to me. Yes, my carpet was cleaned well by some other company. I no longer have a calculator. I never received my 5% discount. As for the company that actually cleaned the carpet, they will see a report from me as well. Off to buy a calculator! (A company I did not hire showed up so I grade all areas "F")

Company never showed, never called, and when I called, their mailbox was full.

John is the best no complaints.

Arrived on time, got right to work, removed several stains, and cleaned all carpeted areas. The carpet now looks new. We will definitely use Carpet Renue again.

John arrived early ( he called to see if it was OK) and performed the job well within his estimate of 2 hours. He did a great job and was very polite and pleasant.

Great job, John was very attentive to stains, and got them out. Very thorough and Arrived on time. Didn't have to delay for an estimate visit and beat Coit by $30.

Our entire cleaning was scheduled from 8:00 to 4:00 on Monday, June 12. When no one had shown up by 8:30 am, I called and was told that the June appointment book had been stolen. John said that he could reschedule for 11:00 that same day. At 11:30 my husband called to see where he was. He said that he was just heading our way. Finally, he showed up at 12:30. Because, of the late start, the upholstery cleaning had to be done on Wednesday. After this rocky start, the work done was very good. Our stairs have always been a problem to keep clean, because they are light colored and heavily used. John went over them and a hallway twice at no extra charge. We were very satisfied with his work.

My overall experience was excellent. John did a wonderful job and I will hire and refer him in the future.

EXCELLENT JOB! WORK WAS PERFORMED BY THE OWNER, AND EVEN THE MOST SET IN STAINS CAME UP! STEAM CLEANING WAS DONE USING A TRUCK MOUNTED SYSTEM, AND JOHN TOOK LOTS OF TIME IN EACH ROOM. HE ALSO APPLIED A SCOTCH GUARD TREATMENT AT THE END TO HELP OUR CARPET RESIST FUTURE STAINS. IT TOOK ABOUT 3 - 5 HOURS TO DRY AND WHEN IT WAS DONE IT LOOKED BRAND NEW! WITH 2 HUSKIES, THAT'S QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT!
