Description of Work: My father decided to sell his 990 sq. ft. home of many years in the Littleton area. After removing all the personal belongings, we chose Brad to paint entire interior before placing it on the market. Our initial parameters to Brad were: 1. We would like to have a brush or roller job done, rather than spraying. 2. As the painting job is for resale, we are interested in an economical job with economical materials. 3. A flat ceiling white should be used for all ceilings. 4. An eggshell off-white (or very light beige, or cream) should be used for all walls. 5. The job includes two main level bedrooms, a living room, the connecting hallway, all closets, the kitchen, the kitchen door, the back door landing, the interior of the back door, and the downstairs hallway up to the existing wood paneling. Window interiors will not need painting, as they are all being replaced. Once remodeling by our contractor is completed, the bathroom is also included. 6. Wall prep will need to include filling and priming the usual nail and wall anchor holes, as well as the permanent removal of all existing window covering mounting hardware, and filling / priming the subsequent holes. The exception is the newer living room bay window and mini-blinds, which will not be disturbed. 7. One wall of the master bedroom is currently wallpapered. The wallpaper will need to be removed before the eggshell off-white (or very light beige or cream) top coat is applied. 8. The kitchen is wallpapered, and also has border near the ceiling. The wallpaper will need to be removed before the eggshell off-white (or very light beige or cream) top coat is applied. 9. We would like to have the painting completed before our contractor has the main-level carpeting removed, and the hardwood floors refinished. Once this floor work is completed, some minor wall painting touchups will be required. Likewise, touchups may be required following our contractor’s window replacement on the main level.
