Very professional and took as much time as needed to introduce us to the process and some tips to train our dog.

Rita has done so much for our puppy Max. When we got him, he was so agressive that I was afraid we couldn't keep him. I found Rita on Angie's list and she came to our house to evaluate Max. Turns out, he's not agressive at all - he's afraid! We were taking entirely the wrong approach. With Rita's help, we are turning him into the wonderful dog he was meant to be. She also brings her own dogs to the training sessions so they can teach Max how well behaved and much loved dogs can be.

My Husband and I have a 8 year old pug and we decided to add another puppy pug to our family.  We were having trouble integrating them together as the older pug had been our only dog for so long.  Rita came into our home and explained to us what was going on and how we could help both of our dogs.  She has an incredible way with them and we are very impressed.  She is kind and firm and really cares about our animals welfare.  She has already made me more confident as the Alfa of our family and both dogs are responding well.  We will continue to have Rita come over to our home and train both us and our dogs until every one is comfortable and happy in their new roles.  Rita is wonderful with dogs and obviously knows her stuff!  We would recommend her to anyone who needs help with their animals.

When "Sheba" came into our lives, we were so excited our first puppy. We had no idea what trouble we brough upon ourselves. "Sheba" was a queen. She demanded everything, would poop in her crate, and chew on my walls, eat my carpet, rip my kitchen floor, etc...(I think you get the idea). We really thought we were going to have to give her away and it was only two weeks. So, we started training with Rita. She did pack training (she brought her dogs to help train). "Bear" trained "Sheba" and Rita trained us (the so called pack leaders). We eventually took over the training of "Sheba". Today she can do so many commands, she is well behaved, and even has trained her new little brother, "Dexter". We wouldn't own a dog today, let alone two Shiba Inus, if it wasn't for Rita. Please seek Rita's help in training, she works wonders with dogs, even cats. I don't want to hear another story about a dog being taped to a refrigerator. I understand how difficult dogs can be and sometimes we as owners get in over our head, but we are prime examples of how getting the right help can change your life forever. We LOVE our Inus and it is all because of Rita.

We couldn't be more satisfied with the results from Rita. She has brought her dogs along with her and while her dogs were well mannered, they did not blindly follow her direction; they are fully functioning independent living animals who seem to do what she wants done because they want to do them. I'm sure, that in an emergency situation, the dogs will immediately react to her command, but that's the difference between wait and stay. Kona, our dog, is a happy, vibrant member of our family. I'm not sure whether or not Kona learned more from Rita or from her dogs. Because of Rita's understanding of Kona, he is anxious to learn. For our $550, we got 8 lessons lasting over an hour each. All were instructive to us and Kona. Additionally, we could call Rita with questions and concerns. Rita is fully literate in at least two languages, English and Dog. It is obvious that she absolutely loves her work.

I didn't have much hope for our puppy until I found out about Rita from somebody at the dog park. We had unsuccessfully tried training at a national pet store. She came the first day with her pack of dogs and for the first time I had more hope. She uses humane techniques to help establish the owners as the leaders of the pack. We have worked in the home, at the dog park, and Cherry Creek State Park to help us with different challenges our dogs faced. Both dogs love her and look forward to her weekly visits. After staying with her, they are exhausted and more well-mannered. For the truly challenging dogs, she is always available for their owners on her cell for guidance. She is also a very good-value compared to other trainers. Rita is passionate about what she does and it is obvious that she is born to do this!
