Ron and his team could not have been more professional, efficient, or conscientious. More importantly, they were exceptionally kind during a very difficult time. My husband passed away in June. He had an extensive collection of Ford Mustang car parts, every tool any man could want with many duplicates and many more items. Not the normal man cave. His shop was 48' x 40' and full from top to bottom.

 Ron came to my home to assess the estate. He was kind, considerate, knowledgeable and fair. He was thorough with his assessment and we signed a contract.

Ron met with us on 9/24/14 to discuss the contents of my dad's place to determine if there was enough items to have an estate sale. Dad had moved to Colorado three years earlier and had downsized quite a bit. Ron did not feel there was enough to have an estate sale but was willing to barter with us to take all the items we did not want and place them in other sales he might be conducting at the time. He took the money he could make from these sales and did not charge us for all the clearing out of the apartment which needed to be done...and there was a great deal to be removed. We had to be out of the apartment by the end of October and Ron was finished with time to spare. Liquidating our dad's apartment was extremely difficult for my brother and me and Ron clearly understood what we were going through. Ron was pleasant, friendly, and honest about what to expect from his services. His communication skills were stellar, keeping me posted as to his progress along the way. Things went very well,  Ron did not have a minimum  requirement and as we had no large valuable items or jewelry, ours was a small sale.  He let us know that in advance.  He did everything when he said he would, punctual returning calls when he was not immediately available.  He and his crew were consistently pleasant and showed real enthusiasm for their job.  We were selling the stuff from the house where we grew up and our parents lived until they died.    He was appreciative of our emotional attachment.  I would highly recommend Ron to anyone, he went above and beyond to help us get the best prices.

Ron worked diligently on the sale for almost a year. He listed many items on his website, Craig's list, etc in order to move items before the actual physical estate sale.His crew organized, itemized, researched a zillion items that had accrued over 60 years, including two old cars, and a roomful of vinyls. He made it as painless as is possible. I felt the %50 commission we settled on was well deserved given the extent of the property, there was a two story main home and three large out buildings, full of stuff. Had it been a more typical one home estate sale, I think the commission would have reflected that.I would use Ron again in a heartbeat!

The sale was good. As an owner you always hope for more. Regardless, I was very satisfied with the results considering the time frame and time of year. I could not be more satisfied. I had good help and great support. Ron and Angie are good people.

Family out of town.  Spoke with Ron prior to going to Colorado and set up a time for him to meet with family to get information on how things would run.  He was prompt and professional.  Discussed the process with us including telling us what to save what to throw out etc.  Gave us some very good information  and ideas.  The estate sale was done after family left town but was monitored by our realtor.  Realtor was very impressed with the process and also how the estate sale was handled.  He was so impressed he has already referred a client to Ambitious Estate Liquidators.  He said the house was empty, cleaned and left in very good condition.   With in three days of the sale a check was mailed to the family.  We felt he got good prices for some of the more valuable items and sold things we had no anticipation would sell. At the end of the sale he sold stuff to scrappers and donated the rest to local charity.      

I would highly recommend this company to anyone.  It was a relief to have someone of this caliber handling things in the absence of the family.

The task of clearing our space and reclaiming as much value as possible was physically and mentally overwhelming  for me. 
Ron and his crew approached it with a solid plan.  Not something I could have done nearly as well on my own.  His network  of contacts and resources is impressive, but more so, the way he manages them in order to maximize the time, space, and income potential of the whole project is outstanding.

I found Ron and Ambitious Estate Liquidators on Angies List.  The cool thing about this was I am in Chicago; I had a situation where my grandmother's house in Lakewood needed to be sold, but like many grandmother homes, there many decades of stuff in the house that needed to be sold after the family was able to clear out all the things with meaningful memories.  I was in Lakewood for about 3 days in July to get alot of affairs in order as well as to get the house cleaned out.  I spoke with Ron about his services and fees and we agreed on an appraoch for him to bid the project.  Once I agreed to the contact, he went into action and conducted an onsite estate sale with tones of foot traffic.
My relator was on site for the second day of the sale and indcated there were about 50 people at the house and Ron's staff had everything under control.  Again, I was not there, I was not on site for any of the prep work or the estate sale.  It was all managed by Ron and team and they delivered.  He kept my family up to speed on what was happening and got us a nice price for the goods that were sold from the house.  We negotiated a price for him to completely empty everything that was not sold and left in the house.
This is a great example of how Angies List works and the way a trustworthy service provider can be found.  I had confidence and trust in Ron to do the job primarily becsue he was on Angies List and had solid reviews.  Ron delivered on my trust in him and his team.  They made a commitment to deliver results and they delivered on their commitment.

Ron is outstanding! He is very knowledgeable about the value of things and is very efficient at getting things done. He is hard working, very thorough and really fast at getting things organized and set up. I am really glad we worked with him and would recommend him without hesitation. Our home is in foreclosure and we wanted to sell some of our belongings in order to have money to move.  We were originally looking into having an estate auction instead of a sale. We were VERY happy we went with Ron and Ambitious instead. The advantages were having a two day sale instead of a two hour auction. We were not charged for advertisement or other costs beyond the 35% that the auction house would have charged  We looked on Angie's List for a recommendation. We called Ron and he was able to meet with us the next day. Both of us felt very comfortable with him and gave him the job.
Ron does his best to sell the big items before the estate sale. He advertises the items and then meets the prospective buyers at the home to show the items. By the time the actual estate sale occurred, he had sold most of the farm equipment, some furniture, and horse tack. You have to have a lot of trust in the person who handles your sale. There would be no way to know if the person running the sale was skimming money for items, taking items for themselves, being truthful about how much they sold an item for, etc. We completely trusted Ron. He is clearly a man of integrity and we will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs to sell their estate. No matter who you choose to do your sale, make sure to set prices beforehand for any items you don't want to let go of below a certain price. Good luck with your estate sale!

 I frankly had no idea what to expect and were nervous about the process.  Ron was just spectacular.  He helped us through every step of the process and really impressed us with his level of professionalism.  He handled everything for us, and we were not at all inconvenienced.  He was meticulous, prompt, and well prepared.   He made what could have been a very stressful process quite smooth.  I honestly cannot say enough good things about the experience and would recommend Ron to anyone.
