The repairman was fine. It's the system that is the problem. We have had nothing but false alarms with this system. The worst security system we have ever had. We are not at this house full time so really rely on the system. We can't reset the system remotely nor was ADT able to reset it remotely nor were we able to reset the error on the panel itself and had to set up an appointment for a tech to come out. In order for a tech to come out, you have to call ADT and get a work order number and then wait for the local service company to call you in order to even set up an appointment. So a false alarm can cost you days or weeks of trouble all the while having no alarm coverage.

I called back to adt ask for manger women did not want to let me talk to manger so I told her I called angies list so she took my phone number Mat the manger called got someone out to fix alarm for use very nice man he come next day. then a women called wanted to know if fixed .so things went very well after manger 

called .he has a job that's why hes there the workers need to let people talk to him when they cant get things done not keep putting you to a different person that's not a manger. we did not have parts to fix it I don't know why women called told us take apart in the first place manger  and man come out didn't know why call want use change  battery when we don't  have that kind battery I hope this never happens again I should of never took part next time send service man we ask that women said 25.00 but when manger called 0 and got service man out  thank you Angies List     I have never had a problem with adt before they call if something at all off make sure your safe I don't know what or why this happen  hope manger took care of his end let his workers know what a alarm is for  not to be down one day women said 4 days  I also thank manger for gettiny it fixed

I sent a letter in October 2013.  I have called numerous times and sent numerous letters to get the check mailed back out but they still have not sent a new check.  I sent a letter in certified mail and they received it on June 9th.  I called in July and in August.   They said they would mail the check out on August 20th.  I had not received it so I called back asking to speak with a manager.  I spoke Mrs. Herndon on August 27th and she said she would get back with me.  I still have not heard back from her nor have I received the check.

My system is not working and I called for them to come out to service.  They said they could not come out until July 10 th service.  That to me, is not security. They're too busy and may have too many customers to take care of my needs.

the installer/salesman told me I would get a free 100 visa gift card after installation and another in the fall. I haven't received anything so I tried to reach someone today. I got a huge run around basically it wasnt ADTs responsibility it was their subcontractor Gaylord Security. I sent them an email on their web site and the only reason I got a callback was that I marked sales as the reason I was contacting them although I said what I wanted was my gift card in the body of the email. I got a call literally within seconds of sending the email but when he found out I already had a system and wanted my gift card he suddenly couldnt help me and told me to contact ADT. I will never do business with ADT again. if they are not responsible for their sub contractors then who is?

I contacted them sending information and calling them to get them to stop double billing me.  Not until I got control of my husband's account did they stop charging me.  I would call, fax, all information to get their attention. Once I stopped the account they stopped billing because they had no access to the account. They are trying to charge me for a broken contract - which I was trying to get corrected.

They are proactive. They are not there actually getting the alarms because it can be that they are not receiving signals, and that’s of course would have to do with any alarm company, and that’s what hurts me.

I chose them since they have a package deal as a provider with USAA which is my bank and insurance company.  They are on one of the best at protecting my house according to them.  They send out pretty confident people to do the repairs.  When the alarm goes off they are right on top of it by sending someone over to my house or calling to see if it a false alarm.  I would use them again in the future.

I took advantage of a special offer for free installation of an ADT security system. The sales rep didn't have correct answers to our questions and didn't even let us know that we had to get a permit for the installation. They originally said that it would take 45 minutes for installation, but it ended up taking them 2 visits and they were nowhere near 45 minutes. On the day of installation they said that there wasn't a good signal and that they had to come back. They came back and finished installation the second day. I received the first bill and it was for 2 months. They never told us we would get charged for 2 months. They charged a prorated amount of $35.71 for May and $48.70 for June. We then got charged $51.95 in July and August. We were told that the monthly charge would be $40.99 for the 3 year contract. We called ADT and they said the cost increased, because they had to install a special system that had a better signal. We were never told that there would be an additional charge and it wasn't on the original contract. They added $12 onto the monthly bill for this upgraded system that we were never told about.

Called after hours on Saturday to confirm that Safeco Security was and authorized dealer. The representative at the monitoring desk was very helpful and confirmed that they were. The system was installed and connected the following Wednesday right on schedule. They even filed the City Permit for me (Permit Fee $85.00). The system works great.

Daughter accidently put in the wrong number on my alarm. She called ADT to say do not call police. They said there was no record of a problem and had not for over a year. Service man from ADT said it was programmed wrong.

They are very responsible and I've had a lot of work done with them. I didn't do price comparison. They take care of the house when I go away and they do patrol. They are very professional. I've used small alarm companies that ADT bought out. I will continue to use them unless I move.

I got a free installation with the purchase of my house. The first week the house was empty, and the alarm was going off there was not an explanation for the alarm going off. They did nothing about the motion detectors going off. It makes me uneasy to use the motion detectors because of the fine in my city for false alarm calls.

I don't have to call them very frequently but when I do they are always there to answer my question. We have a maintenance plan, if anything goes wrong with the batteries they come out and replace it for free. The amount we pay is quarterly.

I was very displeased with ADT to say the least. For five straight days, they failed to do what I was paying them to do. That is awful. I will tell you what I will tell others. I will tell them never to utilize ADT for patrol service. They simply do nothing for what you are paying them to do. I contacted them to ask them why they were failing to do their job. They gave me a pitiful excuse. I wrote a letter to the company complaining about my horrific experience. I am very disgruntled and dissatisfied.

Well, two men had showed up and by the end of the visit, I actually had to call the police on them. They had their jackets on with the ADT logo and all, but, I was just unsure about them. They apologized to me for not having all the proper paper work and that just did not seem right to me at all. He asked me to sign something and when he found out that I already did he proceeded to tell me that they were running some kind of special. It was a giveaway program or something. They told me they would be glad to sign me up for it just to give them my credit card number. I just did not feel comfortable at all. I did call and report them because it just seemed like they were out to scheme me and get my numbers. I did even call the police; I just did not trust them at all. Of course, I ended up not signing with them so there was no charge. I would just be aware of them that s all.

They had to come out to the house and move the wiring for the alarm control panel to the new phone line. This process took about 20 minutes to move the line and test the connection with the home office.
