We found Turtle Creek Builders (TCB) on Angie's List and after meeting with multiple deck builders about building our new deck, TCB was the clear choice. Brian, the owner of TCB, was professional from the first time I spoke with him all of the way through the job. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable going through the process of building our very first deck because he was in constant communication with us via phone or email and answered all of our questions (and there were a lot!). As sometimes happens with building, we experienced a few bumps in the building process and Brian was incredibly responsive and quick to be in communication with us about our options for solving the issues and providing us pros and cons for each option. Any time we asked him to make a change to the deck even if it was just a cosmetic issue that only mattered to us he always made the change and never made us feel bad for asking. He had a team of two deck builders working on our deck and they were very respectful of our property by doing things such as picking up after the job was over and leaving our property exactly as they found it. His deck builders were also very easy to work with and worked well with Brian to take care of any concerns we had. Not to mention, TCB was very reliable. Brian told us our deck would start being built on a certain day and they started a day early even and the builders were here every day until the deck was finished. Our deck was finished just last week and we love it. Not only was working with TCB easy, but Brian encouraged us to visit the lumber store he uses, Rocky Mountain Forest Products, so we could see firsthand what our deck materials would look like and talk to the very knowledgeable people who work at that store about the materials. They are a family-owned business and were incredibly nice and helpful when we stopped by to talk to them about materials. Then they took what we asked them to do with materials and worked directly with Brian, thereby, eliminating any effort on our part of having to personally coordinate the material store with the contractor. It made life so much easier that they were already working together. I believe you get what you pay for and if you want to go through the deck building process with an extremely professional, communicative, knowledgeable, and reliable builder then TCB is worth every penny.

Turtle Creek Builders Inc. did a pretty extensive job for us and it's turned out beautifully. I saw the President of the company every day. He stayed on top of things really well. He's a great organizer. He had everything specifically laid out, itemized and written out for me ahead of time of what things would cost. He also had a timeline with what days or weeks they would be doing what. He stuck to all his plans. I'll be remodeling my bathroom first and he'll be the guy I call. His prices are reasonable. There was a lot to do and they completed all of it in two and a half months.
