The deck is gorgeous and the fence went well. The kitchen was poorly constructed. This contractor knows nothing about tile installation. Several unfinished surfaces were left exposed. The island is not parallel to the counter. The sink was defective and I had to fight him to replace it. Once he had his money, he was not willing to fix anything without charging more. Extremely unprofessional. Were it not for the poor professionalism and shoddy work in the kitchen, I might hire him again for a deck build. Given his poor attitude, I would avoid him.

Demo'd existing bath and was supposed to demo all of master closet, but only demo'd about half of closet. I gave him a drawing showing everything we wanted, he lost the drawing and did it all wrong and tried to tell me I never gave him a drawing. Fortunately my wife was there with me when he asked me for the drawing and we made copies. He Had to come back and redo alot of framing and plumbing. He put up new framing, crooked, uneven, and wobbly, fixed some of it but only after I demanded fixes. When I had him stabilize shower framing, he tried to glue it, after which a simple bump and it came loose again. Did not secure floor platform for tub or provide sufficient framing to hold tub weight. Plumbing was shoddy, flooded our lower level family room ceiling requiring new drywall and texture and paint. He fixed all of that but not without argument and contention and now the family room ceiling looks awful. Didnt put up any plastic when sanding drywall, coating our entire master bedroom in a thick layer of dust. Put a new pipe in ceiling but upon further inspection, he didnt secure it, leaving it loose and haphazard. Just overall awful workmanship. Cuts alot of corners pays very little attention to detail. We pay in cash at 50% completion and upon 100% completion of work and he took advantage of us, putting forth a crappy effort and hiding lots of cruddy work behind drywall (that looks awful).
