I have used Outdoor Lifestyles for all my lawn care & yard maintenance for over 15 years. It continues to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. My lawn, bushes, trees and rock areas are outstandingly beautiful. Most certainly way better than if I had done it myself. The Outdoor Lifestyles team meticulously cares for every element of my yard. They are gracious, kind and always willing to go the extra mile to help with a special request. Best of all, it frees me up to invest my time in other areas....such as golf and tennis on a beautiful spring day.

K&D was recommended to us by our concrete contractor (Stamped Concrete Designs). Brandon was responsive and prompt and his crew was quick and professional. K&D answered all of our questions (we had a LOT!) and did all of the legwork in pulling a permit and getting the necessary steps done to ensure it passed code requirements. They were very flexible in scheduling and did turn-key work - we could not tell they had dug 2+ feet into the ground after they finished! We were not sure how much these gas line type projects run, as K&D was the only company we had quote, so I am not sure that my price rating would be totally accurate, but we would absolutely contact them again or recommend to a friend!

We got about 5 quotes last year and selected K&D due to 3 factors:

- reasonable price; several others were trying to charge us nearly this much just to lay the sod!

- Brandon demonstrates a ton of expertise.  He knows his stuff on everything from grass to flagstone to outdoor lights but really listened to what felt right for us.  Some of his competitors we talked to didn't seem to have much design expertise, others had strong ideas but didn't seem to care what we thought and one just seemed to just want to get in and out and take our money!  

- Brandon just felt like such a good guy that we felt he'd always have our best interests in mind.  He invited us over to show us ideas, took us on a tour to see other work he had done .. our kids even played together!  We were pretty wary at the beginning about making such a big investment and it was important to us to work with someone we could trust.

Once we started the work, Brandon helped us make educated decisions by bringing us to his suppliers (eg plants, flagstone, etc) explaining the differences in cost and durability of each product and bringing samples to the house so that we could envision what it would look like.  He was patient that we started the job small (just sod and some demolition work) then kept asking for more as we got inspired by the great work they were doing!

I can't say enough about his foreman Luis and his crew!  They showed up every day as planned (even some weekends), communicated well and Luis was supremely patient in helping me pick colors and moving potted plants endlessly around the garden until we found the perfect combination and were ready to plant.  (I really came to value his "eye" for aesthetics over time.)

The icing on the cake is that Brandon's team will be doing the monthly upkeep for us this spring.  (We have paid a lot of people to "garden" over the years but they pretty much just mowed the lawn and chopped a few things until the garden deteriorated enough to have to re-plant.  We're hopeful we can keep this one up!)
