Very badly - poor quality, design and execution. I have a warranty for materials and workmanship which they won't honor. Olson Lawn provided an agreement to repair the poor workmanship,m father would not return my calls. Son did a few things and once he received final payment would not return to complete the punch list items. I have 6 dead tress (out of 9), 16 dead bushes, and a sprinkler system that does not work..Estimated damages and non performance against both companies is over $20,000. They are under review by BBB, booth have been removed from the accredited business list, they have bad marks on Yelp as well and prior issues with BBB. Here is the list of open issues, all obligations from the landscaping contract, and some that were repairs the Olson Lawn care provided a written agreement to complete: List of outstanding issues: 1. Will not honor warranty agreement - 1 year from time of completion on materials, plants and workmanship - 2. Olson Lawn Care provided a document committing to repair items on punch list which was not completed per the document and warranty. They claim they don't have to honor the warranty since I would not sign off on completion of the work and satisfaction. 3. 6 dead trees, have to be removed and replaced. Charged $1380 to install one tree, did not include removing an existing tree. This should be covered by the written warranty for materials and workmanship. 4. 16 dead bushes, plants. Also 2 of my existing bushes are dying due to no irrigation. Should be covered by the written warranty for materials and workmanship.. 5. Did not install 2 2'x8' walls PER THE CONTRACT. 6. Did not install 2 8x8 gardens, PER THE CONTRACT. They only installed one garden. 7. Did not install timbers to stabilize SW erosion problem PER THE CONTRACT. 8. Called for more plants by the entrance/gate to the backyard PER THE CONTRACT and design plan 9. Grass not removed and growing up though berm and stones. Should have been scraped. 10. Existing edging was not removed along east border of yard. Should have been removed. 11. Garden irrigation - They initially did not bury the main irrigation lines and told me to do it myself when the weather was warmer. They finally buried the garden sprinkler line. 12. Lawn Sprinkler zones 4 and 6 not modified to provide proper coverage. One head, SW corner does not even work. So I have two heads to cover about a 150" length. Olson Lawn Care tried to find the irrigation line and dug three holes. When they did not find it they claimed another 1 or 2 heads, and fixing the head in the SW corner were not necessary. 13. Sprinkler drip zone for about 50% of new and existing landscape trees and plants does not work - entire south and west areas, and at entrance to yard 14. No drip fittings installed on ends of drip irrigation tubing to trees 15. Installed wrong stones type and size. PER THE CONTRACT, was supposed to be 1.5" river rock, and another section was suppose to be 2-4" Grey Rose cobblestone. He installed 6-10" stone. No idea what type, but not river rock. 16. Stones - insufficient coverage, have to keep moving stones around 17. Stones were very dirty. As the dirt has washed off it has become a weed nightmare. 18. Flooding in landscape area due to location of gutter drainage pipe into landscape area 19. Flooding in NE corner; may be irrigation leak or improper drainage and slope 20.Patio flagstone are sinking, not level, same with walkway 21. Patio breeze not repaired, washed out so there are deep crevices between flagstone pieces and blocks. 22. Fire pit stones are broken 23. Poor spacing between flagstones, large gaps and tiny pieces 24. Lighting - 2 broken lights, burned out transformer, stands for transformers to raise above ground total cost to me ~$250. So this should give you an idea of how badly it went only compounded by the fact they committed to make it right and once they were paid they did a vanishing act. not. I don't think that is an honorable way to do business. Their defense - they bent over backwards for me. I am not sure how, all they had to do was complete the contract, never asked for anything more.
