 + -1 moreI went in to Lowes to purchase a carpet which I had purchased last year for a room. It is an in stock carpet and advertised as a 72 hour install. My first step was on Tuesday the 26th of November, I went in and paid for and ordered measurements. On Monday 12/2/13 a representative called and I went directly over and purchased the carpet. This should be installed by Thursday. On Wednesday late afternoon, nearly 5 PM, I called the store to inform them I have yet to hear from the installer. One hour later the installer calls and informs me he will be out on the 18th. I have called the store everyday, since. On Friday and Saturday I spoke with managers. Still nothing. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks of my trying to get 72 hour carpet installed. If something changes and Lowes makes this right...I will update but it the fact remains they have not honored the advertisement and made life stressful. AND apparently the representative decided to add to the notes that anytime before Christmas would be ok. Without my consent!
Description of Work: I bought carpet but have been unable to get it installed, per Lowes advertising and contract... Update: Lowes finally got it installed 2.5 weeks late, however the installers came in cussing because they had to move furniture (a service we paid for specifically) they walked out and came back an hour later. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Lowes sent a representative out and corrected the problem. The installation was finished but one piece in one bedroom was left un-installed and corrected a week later. Also they put the furniture back without cleaning up or allowing me to clean.
