If you need AC installed, call Kens Mechanical. Ken, his wife Taryn, and nephew Eric were so nice and easy to work with! The price to have AC installed, including all of the hard work they put in, was extremely reasonable. Worth every penny!

Showed up smelling of alcohol. Used a leaf blower on my furnace and blew dust all over my basement. Did not clean all the filters. Left one of the electrostatic filters inside the furnace while cleaning other filters. Filters were reinstalled leaving one filter not cleaned and not inspected.

"The customer was upset that we used a blower to clean the furnace. We use a blower because it blows the dirt out of all the orphans better than trying to use a vacuum. Furnaces have many tight orphic and it is important to blow them out. The appointment request was for a furnace tune-up and he did not mention servicing the electronic air cleaner. Most homeowners clean these filters themselves as they are washable. He should have stated that he wanted the Electronic air cleaner service as well but did not want to pay extra for it, and complained about it not being fully serviced instead. Customers should not be allowed to post derogatory comments."

Thermostat/furnace was not working. Called Ken via HomeAdvisor and he was able to make it out that evening. Went straight to work, he didn’t need to small talk. After properly finding and fixing the problem (in less than 20 min) he fixed it and charged only the service charge. He thanked me and went on his way. I hope he is around to call if I ever need a repair again. Definitely recommend.

he tried to find a solution where he could of broke something resulting in worse damage

"Ken went out on Christmas Day to be sure they had heat. He made a TEMPORARY repair so that they had heat until he could return the next day when he could spend several hours on the repair. He did not and would not have caused damage. The furnace went back out so the customer called another company. Very disappointed they would leave this review when Ken took time on Christmas Day to try to get them heat."
