In September 2015, i discovered my cheap plastic tub was badly cracking and needed to get it replaced quickly. I hired Andy as someone local I found online with great reviews. But once we learned we couldn't simply just slide out my tub and replace it (and had to also re-install both all of my floor and shower tiling), that's where the yearlong nightmare began. Once we discovered all this extra work was necessary, that's when Andy should have backed up and said "I’m only a plumber - let's find someone else to do the rest". So let me say, if your needs are strictly plumbing and it's only a small project or repair, Andy may be your guy. But if your needs extend into other bathroom work, run and hide. Andy raised his hand and told me his brother does great tile work...so I trusted him. But his brother was a lazy, recovering addict who did terrible work. The tiling took him far longer than necessary as he spent a lot of time hanging out in my kitchen smoking cigarettes in my kitchen. Talk about unprofessional! That would have perhaps been forgiven if the work was good...but the tile work was sloppy to say the least. In several spots, the tiles were laid very unevenly. The tile patterns were off and poor looking. And don't get me started on how uneven and poor looking his grout work was! I ended up paying Andy over $3k for horrible work that needed to be re-done. The next thirteen months was basically a long series of canceled and rescheduled appointments and going back and forth with him about getting a new body to completely re-do my shower and floor. And i almost forgot to mention the damage done by Andy and his son during the demolition work for the initial work and a year later for the re-do work...during the first demolition of my shower tiling, they made a huge gash in my drywall next to the shower. And then a year later when we finally got someone new to re-do all the tiling, during that demolition of the old stuff, Andy had apparently dropped tiles onto the tub because there was a huge amount of damage to the tub he replaced a year ago. So that was another drawn out argument i had to have with him (to get the tub replaced again due to the damage he caused to it). Keep in mind the months that passed between each step of this painful process. I wanted to like Andy, but the way he repeatedly kept brushing me under the rug and making me wait ridiculous amounts of time (on top of everything else previously mentioned), I just can't honestly say anything positive about my experience with him. The work was poor on many levels and his respect for my time and his customer service approach towards me was beyond unacceptable.

I've used K and A before. That's why I went back to them. Andy has always worked on my projects .

Work completed by his apprentice crew. Well trained and customer oriented guys. Andy quality checked the work and we were done in no time. Will hire this crew again.

Good responses when needed. Timely work completion. My project did not drag on, it was completed quickly even with a few unexpected problems to solve in my 40 year old house.

This is a great father and son business. They were prompt, courteous and did a shower valve replacement job for us that we thought we'd have to bust out the wall for; they were able to get the job done in the tight space. They also let my 6 year old son watch their every move and were so nice to him! The job cost us half of a quote we got from another plumber! I definitely recommend them!
