They showed up and did the job and were very professional about it, however within weeks of the floors being refinished we began to notice how porous the finish was. If we didnt wipe up a spill almost immediately, it stained the wood underneath. First it was some oven cleaner which spilled while i was wiping down the counterops (maybe 5 minutes??) then it was a small dog who peed on the floor and it was left there for an hour or two, then it was something unidentified that the kids spilled and didnt wipe up (probably juice?). I have had light oak floors almost all my life and never had a problem with staining. I have house trained many a large and small dog on hardwoods and never had staining. When i brought this up to them they told me they woulf happily come and fix it but it would cost me another 2k. Now I most likely need to replace the hardwoods.
