Don Thompson Concrete

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT and
unorganized - On 6/20/13, we received a good faith quote to repair our front
porch (two actually). Refused to schedule; continued making excuses; asked
several times in last 4 months to schedule. We have been trying to schedule
since our good faith estimate of 6/20/2013 for a porch to be replaced and Don
Thompson Concrete flat out refuses to come out and do the job. Communications
spanning over 4 month time frame and Don Thompson Concrete continued to
reschedule and make excuses.  
When we asked on 10/7/2013
to PLEASE SCHEDULE the date, Don Thompson Concrete arbitrarily stated "We
are canceling the contract!" WITHOUT CAUSE and promptly hung up on us! Fulfill
your obligation or explain why you won't. What legitimate
business does that? We believe due to the recent flooding that occurred, there is an
immediate benefit and chosen opportunity to gain some business from a the
disastrous flooding situation via insurance claims and feel Don Thompson
Concrete is compromising their business ethics and morals by kicking prior
customers like us to the curb who have been patiently waiting since JUNE 2013
to get our patio fixed with the good faith estimate we ?agreed? to PRIOR to the
flood.  We will find a business we
believe has a foundation of integrity with common courtesy to follow through
with a good faith estimate and not leave us hanging out to dry for a four month
period.
It is now October 8, 2013
and when we asked for a ?firm date?, the owner stated verbatim "We are
canceling the contract!" without cause and then had the audacity to hang
up on us. Yes, they hung up without explaining why they are cancelling. Now we
are in a bind because of their inability to schedule and come out and to the
work we agreed upon on June 20, 2013. 
The owner is difficult to work with. 
We did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. This is not professional behavior and
customer shouldn?t be hung up on while talking over the phone.  Very unprofessional & UNACCEPTABLE in our
opinions!
