We have used Colo Roofing before and they are great. Worked with our insurance adjuster on the damage to the roof from a hail storm. Crew was fast (1 day) in replacing the roof and left no mess behind. I will definitely use Colo Roofing again should the need arise.

Severen was great! He was prompt, very professional, friendly and a hard worker. I was anxious about picking the color of the new roof shingles and he spent time to help me through the process. He was willing to take the time to answer any and all the questions I had. The re-roofing and new sheathing went without a hitch and all inspections were passed without any problem. He was present (and working) with his crew through the whole project.

Severen at Colo Roofing was extremely professional and easy to get a hold off and communicate with. He came out and fixed a few spots on our roof that were leaking through to the drywall inside. It is nice to find someone who does great work, is honest and doesn't make you feel like you might be getting swindled somehow. All around a great experience and I will definitely be calling him again when I need more repairs or a new roof.

Great service, on time. He inspected my roof and provided a complete detail inspection report via email when he said he was going to do it. If I need a job to be done in the future, I will call this company first.

Severen and his crew were amazing. Every step of the way, Severen was extremely professional, communicative and punctual. My wife handled the selection of this company as our roofing contractor, I only met Severen the day the removal/install occurred. The crew and Severen showed up right around 7am, when they were scheduled to, and began working promptly thereafter. Severen returned around noontime, and offered to explain exactly what his crew was doing, and the differences in old materials versus new. Once the crew finished (we have an 1100 square foot brick ranch and they were finished by mid-afternoon). Severen and I went up on the roof and he was very detailed in explaining why and how things were done.
It was impressive how detailed the cleanup was after the job. There was a colossal mess around my house following the install, and Severen's crew left my property absolutely spotless.
As a special note, I had my evaporative cooler replaced immediately prior to the roof replacement, and due to a complication, my plumber had to send an electrician to wire things up, so I had a conduit that was not connected to my cooler. Severen's crew placed the proper gasket and sealed the area around the conduit. The electrician arrived a few days later, and much to my immense disappointment, not only did she disrupt the seal around the conduit to do her job, she did not reseal it, nor did she inform my wife or I that she had basically left a compromise to our roof. When I let Severen know, he stopped by the next day to seal it properly, once again. My roof's inspection passed with flying colors.

I would strongly recommend Severen and his amazing crew to anyone looking to have work done on their roof.

I purchased this deal for my father, who reported a slight leak in the flashing around his sunroom. He was provided a bid from another roof repair contractor for $933 to repair this small leak. Given the strong reviews of Colo Roofing on Angie's list, My thought was that this inspection would give us another opinion and possibly a fix while taking the time to look for other things.
The positive reviews a for this contractor are well deserved. He was prompt in his e-mail response to coordinate service, patient in waiting for the snow to melt of the roof and very professional with his service. While the deal I bought was very vague about the minor repairs that would be provided, Severen did not take the opportunity to upsell or point out other things for repair. Quite the contrary, he did a thorough review of the existing problem, fixed it for the price of the deal and indicated that the roof was overall in good condition and no further work was necessary.3883 S. Went very well. His results matched the results we had when we had a home inspection prior to buying the house. He also located a few areas on the roof that required some additional sealing. The work performed was excellent, he was incredibly punctual, responsive and professional. Work was done quickly and efficiently and I can now sleep easy knowing my roof is in good function. Would definitely recommend him for roofing. Very happy.

Severen arrived on time to inspect and work on my roof. He nailed down and resealed the stack for the hot water tank, and checked and touched up seals on the chimney and other stacks. Other than that, he said the roof was in great shape, and he took pictures to show me what he had covered with the inspection. I also received a written report detailing the results of the 25 point inspection. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and I would call him again for roof maintenance or repair or replacement.

I called Severen to see if he could figure out a mystery leak. I am a new home owner and experienced a leak during a very heavy rainstorm. I did not know where to even start to look for the problem. Severen picked up the phone personally and was able to give me a timetable of when he was able to come out. Even with the busy schedule of a roofer he was able to come out the next week. He arrived perfectly on time. He was very good at explaining what he thought the problem was and pointed out several things about my roof I did not even know. When he was up on the roof inspecting, he took pictures of everything he saw and showed me exactly what he thought was going on. He was very knowledgeable and very good at explaining what he found. He found a hole between where the roof shingles ended and the gutter, where there was supposed to be an overflow flashing of some type. He also let me know about some other possible problems that could become a future issue involving the rubber seals around vent pipes. He had recommendations about when they would need to be repaired and was knowledgeable about several ways to do it. It was great to be educated by a real professional without any kind of the and quot;up sellingand quot; that I have experienced in the past. He was able to repair the flashing immediately with a new part and caulk. He was so friendly that when my neighbor came over and asked a few curiosity questions he was kind enough answer her. The whole transaction took about 30-40 mins. It was a great experience which is so rare these days. I would highly recommend Severen to anyone looking for a roof repair or inspection.

He came out on time, went up on the roof, took pictures of the problem which was a crack in the flashing on an exhaust from our bathroom shower area. We are so happy we didn't have to climb up to see anything, cause we really couldn't do that. The pictures showed exactly what the problem was. He quoted us a price, told us how the rest of the roof looked for it's age, and proceeded to do the repair on the spot right then. He is a very pleasant, professional, honest man who I would recommend sincerely for any roofing problems and installment.This was our first use of Angie's List and we are super pleased with the service. !!!

Severen was informative, wanted me to climb the ladder to see what he proposed to do.  When I had climbed the ladder, he showed me the possible problem spots and said that he would seal those areas.  After the work was completed, he again had me climb up the ladder to see what he had done.  Severen was courteous, informative and knowledgeable.  I will call Colo Roofing in the future for my roofing needs.

I brought in several "A" rated roofers from Angies List to look over what was causing water damage to some walls and whether it was still an issue that I needed to address.  Either I didn't get called back or they wanted to charge big bucks to perform work that didn't need done.  No one's estimate seemed to make sense related to the damage and everyone seemed to have a different cause/fix for it.
It wasn't until I brought in Severen of Colo Roofing that I felt confident that things would be address correctly and for a reasonable price.  Although the bulk of the problems were the result of a poor skylight installation that caused water to run down underneath the roof and into the interior walls, Severen was honest about the cause even though the bulk of the solution was for work he does not perform.  This was even more informative than the skylight people, who were ready to install new skylights as improper as the original ones.  Severen's advice kept me from hiring those sham skylight folks or other roofers.  With our rainstorm last fall that caused flooding in several areas including Arvada, it demonstrated with absolute certainty that Severen's diagnosis of the problem was truly the source of the leaks.
Severen came in after the installation to review their work and perform some touch up work on the headwall flashing so that I am now extremely confident that we are protected from another major flooding rainfall.
Additionally, Severen discounted his original price for his work just for using him.  Personally, I feel I got a great value for my money since his time and consultation were worth much more than he charged for the work.
I will not hesitate using him again in the future for any roofing work I may have.  Thank you Severen!

What amazing customer service! They responded immediately to address concerns our home owners insurance had expressed. They responded and fixed all the items on the list and even some concerns we didn't know existed! He gave great advice and guidance and refused to do work that was not necessary or helpful even when we would have paid him to do so. He wrote and thorough and complete report that enabled us to keep our insurance. He was friendly, professional and had his team work in Saturday to ensure the work got done! I highly recommend this company!

Working with Severen to replace our vey old wood shakes roof was a pleasure and a satisfying experience. Severen is very responsive. He will usually answer your calls whenever you need to reach him, and is always polite, courteous, but more than anything, very knowledgeable and professional.
Despite being the 4th of July, Severen came to our house to survey our roof and took the time to clearly explain to us what the work of replacing a roof would involve. He brought plenty of sample boards of the shingle materials to choose from, pointing out the pros and cons of each. He also made note of items in our roof that needed extra attention, such as inadequate vents that other contractors had failed to mention. Within a day or two, he had e-mailed us multiple roofing contract proposals to examine, based on the various options we had discussed.
After waiting years for a hail storm to get our roof replaced through insurance, we opted to pay for the cost of replacing the roof on our own. And even though it took us almost four months to secure the financing to proceed with the work, Severen waited patiently until we were ready. With as much backlog work as he had from the September floods, and the unpredictable fall weather, he worked closely with us to find the earliest mutually agreeable day to do the work. The day of the work, he and his full 10-man crew showed up on-time, and in just over 7 hours performed the work flaswlessly. Severen was at home supervising all of the work during the whole time. They completed every single item he had agreed to either replace or install as new per the signed contract. They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, and left no waste or construction materials around the house. I am no roofing expert, but it was obvious that the quality of the workmanship he and his crew do is superior. We passed all county inspections like a breeze, with no issues raised whatsoever.
 
We are very satisfied with the work Severen and his Colo Roofing company did for the roof of our home. We interviewed a total of 5 roofing contractors, all top-rated in Angie's list, but Severen undoubtedly offered us the best value for the price. No question about it. Our roof looks great and we know we'll have a good roof for many years to come. I have no hesitation at all in recommending he and his company for any and all roofing work, no matter how big or small.

He  examined the roof ,found where the leak was and repaired it .  He indicated that he had a partial tube of chalk.  He used his own chalk to seal the leaks around the vent pipes. When it came time to pay him,he said he would charge me for  the roof inspection only.  He said the repair was a small job an he was more interest in createing good will so that when a bigger job came along we might remember his company.   He will certainly be our first choice for job in the future.

My tenant found mold growing around bathroom vent and also said when it rained a lot water seemed to come into the utility room near vent.  Colorado Roofing said they would call tenant and arrange a visit to take a look based on her schedule.  They kept me in the loop on when they would be going out and contacted me with a follow up on what was needed/done.  Very professional, friendly, and helpful.  Sealant was applied around the vent stacks.  I would definitely use Colorado Roofing again.

Severn was extremely timely and professional.  He fixed a roof leak that we had 2 others try to fix before him.  I'd recommend him in an instant!!

Severen did a great job fixing our leaky fireplace.  The area on the roof where the fireplace comes out had warped away from the roof and required caulking to prevent the leak.  It has rained since he did this and no leaks!  He was on time and very professional and provided a report as to what he found while up on the roof.
