CARPET EXCHANGE

This is a followup to my earlier review. I had trouble with one of their guys there (Matt, ugh!) after receiving the wrong color carpet. But I went to talk to their salesperson and she is making good on getting it reinstalled with the correct color. So that is much better. Now, just a word of caution for the rest of you. I had a very small job so I bought a remnant. Be very careful with ordering based on a sample if it isn't from the actual bolt they are going to use. They wound up telling me that the problem with mine is the dye lots can vary ALOT. In this case it was so much of a variance that tan carpet with a yellow hue became a lighter beige carpet with a pink hue. And they said it's the same carpet just a different dye lot. So I don't know how you are supposed to actually order off a sample. Anyway, don't let them remove your old carpet and/or install your new carpet without first examining what they sent against the sample you decided from. It could be way different and the time to notice that is before they start work.
