It went very well.  Scott Carlson and his assistants are very professional.  The work was done very well.  We were consulted each step of the way, and several of his suggestions were very helpful.  He's easy to communicate with, and kept us informed.  We recommend him highly.

All details went as planned - they were very flexible with scheduling the work, arrived on time, and completed on time.   The work was beautifully done.   They took care to protect passageways from dirt and cleaned up all debri.  Correspondence and communication, from the initial contact up through the work completion, went well.  There were no price nor construction surprises - everything went very well.

Scott was responsive in the beginning and came out quickly to give us a bid.  Once we went with him, we ordered the tile at prosource.  Once the project started, there would be days when he did not show up, did not answer my calls and I had no idea if he was coming that day.  
He does great work, but he needed to communicate better with us about when he would be there, status of everything etc.

Scott Carlson installed tile hearth around fireplace and patched some holes in tile floor.

He took the time to cut the back sections of the tiles to fit the existing brick on the front of the fireplace and made sure the job complied with Denver fire code.

He cleaned up the area, took away all of the trash, and made sure that my wife and I were happy with the job before asking to be paid.
