This was one of the worst contractor experiences of my life. Initially I thought this was going to be great. Matt appeared to be trying to really help us out, but when it came to doing the work it took way longer than it should have. There were always excuses about why he could not get the job done. Including that he was going out of business. Then when he finally did it, he messed it up. He had put the holes for the sinks about 4 inches off center. This was in spite of the fact that he had the intact original counter top as a template. He never fixed the problem, Unfortunately we had paid him before we realized how bad the problem was ( We were relieved that he had put the counter top in and were just so glad to be rid of him). We asked him repeatedly to fix the problem or return the money we had paid him. He became rude, refused to communicate, belligerent. Challenging us to try and recover the money in small claims court. Eventually he did provide another piece of granite to fix the problem, but we had to hire another contractor to do the job. What should have been a small $500 job ended costing us over $1300 because of this. If anyone needs proof we have records of all our communications with him that we can post showing how difficult he was to deal with.

I was pressed for time to get the kitchen done due to the sale of my condo. The installation was complete by the time I arrived after work. The countertops were absolutely beyond my expectation. They were beautiful and matched the cabinets perfect. I could not have been more pleased.
