Eric See and his crew are extremely professional. Eric educated us on all the different floor options and helped us to decide on a floor that was right for our family with two young kids and two dogs. We choose a prefinished hickory with a saddle stain. (Which is holding up very well to both the kids and the dogs after several months). The installers arrived early each morning and sometimes stayed until after dark with few breaks, if any. Their commitment to hard work was evident. They were very respectful of our house, yard, and intrusion into our space, even though we were probably in their way more than they were ours. When an installation error did occur, Eric addressed it quickly, effectively, and in the most professional way I've ever seen. The result was stunning! The boards are tight, cuts were made with the least gap possible, and there was strong attention to detail. I would rehire 5280 Floors in a heartbeat and strongly recommend them to you! They are a classy small American business.

Wonderfully! We could hardly be more pleased! A two man team (one journeyman and one apprentice, though frankly both were top-shelf) performed the work over about 10 days. Ours was a large and difficult job not only because of the size (about 2000sqft), but also the depth of the scratches plus the soft yet knotty pine and hand scraping many corners and several hundred feet of baseboard. All of the unsightly scratch damage was erased, plus all the annoying waves in the planks around the hard knots (an artifact of earlier or original finishing) were made perfectly smooth. Also, the old drop-in metal vents were replaced with compatible flush-mount floor vents. All work very professionally and supremely beautifully done! Their work adds value to our house!

The work went very well. Eric the owner is a very good communicator and kept me up to speed at each stage of the project. Because of scheduling, this flooring work needed to be done before painting the house walls and tiling the bathrooms. That meant that 5280 had to do the initial work and then come back at the end to make scratch repairs, do final transition work, and fix a few imperfections caused by the 47 year old floor. The 5280 Flooring work was very professional and very well done. Eric's recommendation on the stain color to use was perfect for this house.
