 + -1 moreNeeding to connect to new sewer system and having a failing septic tank required me to find a qualified contractor to do the job right the first time. I obtained a list of plumbing contractors, from the water/sewer agency, that had recently worked in our city and were properly licensed. This list did NOT make recommendations so I put my project out to bid with 5 of the contractors listed, after checking their license status with the state licensing board. All 5 contractors responded via email in a timely fashion. Ron Wittwer Plumbing estimate was the most concise and descriptive of the work that needed to be done. All of my questions were answered, including some that I didn't know I had, in a polite and complete manner. Ron even answered my call while he was out of town and provided me with the proposed date of construction. In addition, after reviewing all of the estimates and eliminating the highest and lowest bids, Ron Wittwer Plumbing came out right on top. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: Provided clear and concise estimate Abatement of existing septic tank and tie house sewer line to street sewer lateral in yard. Unearthed lids of tank and had septic tank and cesspool pumped. Filled the septic tank and cesspool with sand Trenched from house sewer stub out to street sewer lateral, tie-in, inspected and backfilled Obtained and completed building permit from city building department Provided all materials and labor Completed paperwork for sewer provider and provided copies to agency and to me
