"I have all info regarding this job. First the wire that was used is the only wire that can be used. It was #12 and #14 NM cable used according to code.He has no idea what he is saying. I also have the paperwork that shows he agreed to a 200amp meter main panel because he didn't want to incur the cost to put 400amp service in that the utility company wanted him to pay. They would have to upgrade the transformer on a utility pole and homeowner would have to pay for part of that. I put in a sub-panel in the garage that they agreed on so that the brother would be able to in the future put power equipment in there and be able to have breakers right in the garage to wire to. I only asked for payment on progress which is standard in contracting. They wouldn't let me finish the last item which was new power for the pool. I told them I would put in new wires and boxes but that if existing piping was bad they would need to help with getting trench dug for new pipe. They wanted me to do this at no extra cost.We did extra items in home and never asked for any change orders. We put Flourescent can lights in the kitchen according to code and because the one brother didn't like that the bulbs were not screw in base wanted them changed out. Those fixtures are more money but i had them changed out at no extra cost. This is just one extra. They would not let us come back to finish and do a final walk thru so if any issues were there they could be addressed. Also the one brother has some knowledge of electronics but no understanding of this type of work. Example. He argued constantly that when he checked the voltage that the outlets only would read 118 some 119 volts. told him that I can't change what the utility company provides. I showed him at the meter main panel that the voltage reading coming in was the same as his outlets. somehow he figures i can fix this. They were being difficult but I told my guys to just be polite and keep working . I would have to deal with some kind of issue everyday and would go out of my way to try to accomodate them but just couldn't. I walked away with them owing me money. They wouldn't let me finish or even come over to have a final inspection of the work that was done. Again the only thing that was left was pool wiring. I could have called for inspection and let them get a seperate permit for pool wiring later. But they just wouldn't work with me to settle this. Jerome would take things apart to check them even though he is not qualified to do so. I know this because he told me he would do this everyday after we left. I am sure that he created some issues there himself because of this. Any ELECTRICIAN who reads this will know that him saying I used cheap wire is not true. I could have sued him for this if I had seen this sooner.. I could go on and on but wont. To bad I just saw this.I would have him in court."
