Looks beautiful and great price. Tad was a pleasure to deal with. Definitely will use him again.
The utility and kitchen sinks were repaired perfectly and are nice and tight now without a leak.
The bathtub drain was beautiful, shiny metal. It's the kind that you push down on the round disc above the drain. The disc went partially down but it didn't engage completely which allowed water to drain. I called Tad and he came right over and tightened the drain and it has worked perfectly since.
I have some other tile work I want him to do in a few months.
Thank you Tad!
With regard to the tile, he was able to order the same tile (mfg and color) but when the workmen began to lay the tile to extend the original foyer to include the hallways and entrance to the great room, it was clear that the new boxes contained more tiles that were darker than were in the original. When I mentioned that I was concerned that there was a distinction between the old and new, Tad, without hesitation, instructed the men to correct the situation to my satisfaction. One of the men sorted through the tile boxes and brought in darker tiles which I placed over a number of the lighter tiles in the original areas (foyer and bathroom off one of the newly tiled hallways) until everything looked balanced. They removed those light tiles with the darker ones, as well as removed all the original grout in the entire foyer so that there was no chance that the grout areas would not match.
All the work was executed in a professional, expert manner and all of the workers were pleasant, considerate and extremely diligent.
Tad did not require any payment prior to beginning the work. Once work was underway, I did pay 3 minimal amounts for the crown molding material, the paint and a deposit on the laminate, but did not have to make any additional payments until the work was completed.
In addition to performing all the requested work, when I mentioned to him that I wanted to have the grout in the kitchen and the two bedrooms that still were carpeted cleaned, Tad provided a recommendation for someone to take care of those items. I contracted with that person and I was very pleased with his work as well.
Upon completion of the work all old materials (old carpet, padding, tiles and grout that was removed, etc.) were removed and the premises were clean and neat.
