Great On time, high quality work, reasonable cost

We have two seperate gas water heaters at our house and one of them failed over the weekend.  We had plumbing contractor come out to not only replace the failed water heater but also the other one too since it was quite old and the tank was rusting.  They showed (We have already been without hot water for half the house, kitchen, laundry, one bathroom for 3 days), and said he couldn't install because even though the new ones were also gas they required electrical outlet to run the electronic ignition and powered damper, so he couldn't install until we got outlets installed.  We called JC Electric (Jesus) who we have used before for some outdoor electrical work, and he was able to come that afternoon and install both outlets so we could get the plumbers back the following morning to install water heaters.
As he was the previous time, Jesus was very friendly and understanding of our situation and was able to stop the job he was working on to help us with our "emergency" situation.  His pricing is more than reasonable.  We will continue to use and recommend JC Electric.

He was great. Punctual and friendly in his service. When giving the estimate, he offered a couple different options with varying cost. He also made sure I understood how the GFI for the replacement outlet workd.

Outstanding - employee was very professional and correctly identified and resolved problems with garage lights. This involved two visits because I needed to purchase some replacement fixtures. Because the exterior motion detector involved some more complicated issues, the owner of JC Electric personally took care of the repair.

I was changing some fluorescent bulbs in my kitchen and a couple of them were stuck.  Not wanting to break them, I searched Angie's List and found J C Electric.  I called him (Jesus) late in the day and he still came out immediately.  He was more than able to remove and replace the bulbs and also inspected the ballasts.  I was very grateful!  I also called Jesus a week or so later when I had accidentally hit an electrical wire while digging in the back yard.  Jesus came out and inspected and fixed the wire within 5 min. free of charge! You rarely find that kind of character and commitment to service these days!!  J C Electric will be handling all of my electrical needs in the future!  Jesus is awesome!!

I called and set up a time to meet the same day.  He showed up and we went through the write ups
We agreed on a price and he left to pick up supplies.
When he got back he started working.  He thought it was only going to take him an hour or so.  He ended up spending a bit more time at my house and even went a few steps further and he check other outlets and switches that I had not requested.  He ended up finding a few other problems and fixed on the spot.  He was very thorough.
I went out for lunch and brought him back a soda and he was very appreciative.
He fixed everything and more!

I have an electrical problem in my own house and I will definitely be calling JC Electric to troubleshoot my wiring problem!

Arrive the night I called my air conditioner stop working because a circuit blew. It was around 100 degree when it happened. Was very helpful and fix it that night.  

I interviewed several electricians about updating an older home as a rental property.  Jesus was the most polite, professional, and reasonably priced.  He was always prompt with returning phone calls or text.  He worked around a lot of construction for many days and was a pleasure to work with.  He returned several times to finish projects as they arose.  He was extremely helpful.  Finished all projects timely and efficiently.  Absolutely no complaints.  I am currently awaiting his arrival at the home we live at to do some work there.

I noticed my power in certain rooms on my house were going on and off for about a week.  When I finally decided there was a problem that needed attention, it was Memorial Day.  I called JC Electric at 9:15 a.m., and he arrived at my house at 11:30.  He diagnosed the problem (long story), and we agreed on a plan of action.  The next morning, Jesus had made arrangements for PG&E to arrive at my house at 8:15 a.m., to shut off the power and disconnect the wiring at the top of my house.  Jesus arrived shortly after that.  Once the power of shut off, he went to the City of Marysville to obtain the necessary permit, and made arrangements for the inspection that afternoon.  He had the necessary parts to begin the job, and immediately went to work.  He had to replace my entire breaker box, and the pipe that houses the wiring running up to the top of my house that connects to the PG&E line. 
Jesus was professional, trustworthy (I left him in my house alone), very nice and he did an excellent job.  The inspector from the City said they have never had a problem with Jesus' work, and he is was always easy to work with.  He even was patient with my 76 year old dad who wanted to "help"! 
I would absolutely recommend Jesus to anybody that needs any kind of electrical work done.  I plan on using him again in the future for some more electrical work I would like done.  If you are also considered converting to solar power, he is licensed to do this work as well.  You will not find a more qualified professional!  I highly recommend JC Electric. 

I recently had an electrical outlet begin shooting sparks and smoking.  I decided to get this looked at by a professional.  I figured while I had an electrician in my home, I would get a few other repairs done as well.  I called JC Electric at 9am on a Wednesday morning and explained my issues to him.  To my surprise, he was able to make me an appointment for the very same day and arrived at my home in under an hour.  

Once he arrived, he was professional and courteous at all times.  After I agreed to hire him, he immediately got to work and repaired a ceiling light in my laundry room.  He then discovered he needed parts to repair the fan, doorbell and the outlet.  He drove to a local hardware store to get the parts.  Once he returned he repaired my doorbell transformer, ceiling fan and outlet in a very efficient manner. 

When it came time for the bill he only charged me for two hours of labor even though he easily worked for three hours.  I would definitely recommend Mr Contreras to anyone.  He is a knowledgeable professional who provides quality service at a very fair price.  Great service!!!!
