WHITE GLOVES HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES

I was not terribly satisfied with this company. They were inconsistent with the people they brought to my home, not telling me that they were going to bring their father one week, and the next week they wouldn t speak to me because I spoke to the office about it. I also requested that one person come that speaks English so I can clearly explain what it is that I needed done.

They sent 3 people, one was fluent in English, the other two spoke a few words. They were 30 minutes late. They brought everything they needed for cleaning except for stainless steel cleaner, granite cleaner, and paper towels (they used ours). Performed fairly thorough cleaning of all sinks, tubs, toilets, and dusted blinds, furniture, on top of sills, handrail, etc. Mopped floors. Cleaned mirrors. Do not do windows or laundry. They worked well around family members and our cat. They seemed careful around fragile items and remembered our preferences when they returned for the 2nd visit (same crew).

The woman from White Gloves was not familiar with Angie's List, so I'm confused how the company was listed. RE: there was a 4 person cleaning crew, a family of mother, father, and 2 (adult) daughters. Prior to their arrival, Deborah De Marco came over to my house and went over my cleaning needs. The family worked hard and did a good job. The problem I experienced with this company was in scheduling. After an initial cancellation (on their part) and reschedual, I requested that the crew arrive around 10:00. That morning, I got a call that the crew would not arrive until 12:00. In reality, they didn't not show up until after 1:00, and didn't start work until 1:30. I had to leave at 5:00, and although they worked well, they didn't have enough time to finish the job.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THEM. THE PROFESSIONALISM IS GOOD. THEY ARE KIND TO MY DOG AND THEY ARE BONDED WHICH IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO ME. THE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. THEY DO THE HARD WOOD FLOORS SPOTLESSLY AND THEY CLEAN THE WHOLE HOUSE GREAT. THEY USE A SPECIAL SOLUTION ON THE HARD WOOD FLOOR.
