A few months ago I noticed that the pan of my 6 year-old chilled water coil had rusted out and was leaking. I called several companies to assess the situation and make a recommendation about how best to repair the unit. I was not entirely satsified with the diagnoses or bids from these companies, so a neighbor with a similiar unit recommended I contact Scott. From start to finish, I was impressed by his honesty, thoroughness, professionalism, and price. He personally examined my current unit, gave me several options for repairing or replacing the unit, and worked with the distributor to order the best part at an affordable price. Whenever I had a question, he would email me back right away. On installation day, Scott worked for most of the day, meticulously and neatly, installing the new system. His father, an experienced AC/HVAC man,, assissted. I learned that Scott's family has been in the HVAC business for two generations. During the process, we discovered that the old chiller unit was probably more than 6 years old, and that it seemed to be a recycled unit that did not properly fit the fan coil unit in the first place. As a result, we were receiving only about 50% of the chilling capacity. Now, thanks to Scott, not only is the rust and leak a thing of the past, but our Pasadena condo cools down quickly, even during the hottest days. Scott is a trustworthy and highly qualified.
