Front door lock refused to stay closed unless locked. Thought I was going to have to get a whole new lock (it was expensive). I was pleasantly surprised when he just retooled the existing lock and in less than half an hour, my door stayed closed without have to lock it each time. The technician arrived the same day--earlier than estimated. He was quick, professional and thorough. I have used him twice before and was never disappointed. Highly recommend this company!

Gary is exactly what you want in a service repairman- prompt, courteous, quick and professional.  I called Wed afternoon to schedule, he was at my house the next morning.  Very personable and professional- as he handed me his business card and introduced himself the minute I opened my door, then got right to work.  You can tell Gary takes pride in his work witnessed by his professional service and immaculate repair van- one only wishes that all service professionals acted this way. 

Great job!  Prompt, courteous and professional.  Same day service (even arrived early).  I will use again.    

I called this company that was on Angie's list first on a hunch.  The man came within an hour of my calling, examined the old lock and found out it needed replacing.  I told him I had to have one that looked like the old one because of my association's rules.  He had one on hand which looked good enough and I had him install it.  He keyed it to my old key for a small additional fee. The price was reasonable and I wrote him a check.  I am very impressed by the punctuality of his visit and his professionalism.  I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing similar services.

Mr. Meehleis came over immediately and handled the problem beautifully. He installed three locks in a modern condo,
  was fast and professional and the work took one hour.

I called Gary and, within 30 or so minutes, he was at my house. The lock was fixed within 1 hour of my making the initial call. He advised me that I would need a new lock eventually, but did not pressure me to replace it today.  Gary was friendly and professional.  I will use hime in the future when the need arises.

The service provided was excellent.  He was punctual, quick, and the locks work great.  The locks we have a very complex.  I highly recommend this company.

My experiance with Gary was beyond fabulous for MANY reasons!!  First, was his fair-ness in pricing, and his honesty.  I called about 6 locksmiths, asking for quotes, on Sunday.  Gary was the first one who was avaiable when i called the first time.  He gave me a quote that was FIRM, not an estimate.  Most of the people I called either were not available, and three of them gave me quotes that had a service charge, but then along with it had a subjective fee to re-key each lock.  Most told me that I had to pay for the locksmith to come out and only then, could they give me an accurage price for re--keying each lock. That did not sit well with me.  When I reached Gary, I asked him what his price was. He was very clear about his service cost and price per lock. I asked him if that might change once he got to my house, and he said no.  I told him how I was getting different feedback from other vendors, and he said to me, "yeah, I dont know why they do that".  He said "My price is my price". I liked that and I felt the price was more than fair, esp since he was driving a while ot get to my hourse.  He was supposed to arrive at 11 and came an hour and a half early, which was appreciated, since the day before I asked him to come earlier (and he did!) :) He was very thorough, was very thoughtful to take off his shoes and not to track dirt onto my carpet.  I really appreciated that!  Gary was SO professional and prompt and thorough and reasonable and fair in his pricing. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who asked me! :)  It took him 45 minutes to re-key four locks, and cut 4 keys each for each door. HIRE GARY!  You will not be disappointed. I even put his business card in my Rolodex, which is only reserved for those who blow me away with their service, and whom i want to contact again! :)

I closed escrow on a house a few days ago and needed to re-key the locks on the front door. I contacted Gary at Precision Lock & Key after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List.

Gary told me exactly how much the job would cost over the phone. The price seemed reasonable considering my other option was to purchase a new deadbolt lock and door handle from Lowes and then install that myself. We agreed to meet at the house a few days later during my lunch break. By the time I got there (about 5 minutes before the appointment time), Gary was already waiting in his van in front of the house.

I think the job took about 15-20 minutes max and I was back in the office with time to spare. This is the first time I have used at provider through Angie's List and it was a very positive experience. Gary is a nice gentleman, professional and efficient. I appreciate that he focused on the job at hand without stopping to check his messages, smoke, or engage in idle chit chat. Thanks Gary!

He has a set fee to come out.  I think they were very professional. They do what I want them to do. This guys is excellent and he came out when he said he was going to. His price is good and he is better than some of the other guys. 

He helped a single-woman out w/ respect, competence and friendliness.

I would use them again in the future.

They do outstanding work. It was great job. He was out here, he was great.
