WOODLAND HOUSECLEANING REFERRAL AGENCY

We were very unhappy with their service.  Woodland Housekeeping Agency quoted a price for a cleaning of a small guest house for 4 hours. The woman who came out took 5 hours and wanted us to pay for more than 5 hours. She didn't do basic things. I came into the guest house at one point, and she was looking at her ipod. I don't think she was doing much. I really don't see how it could take 5 hours to clean a 600 sq foot guest house. So we were very disappointed with the service. She wanted me to pay her cash which I thought was weird. Then she wouldn't give me a receipt. She didn't have a receipt book. I was totally shocked. I spoke to the manger so I didn't pay for the 5 hours. 

They charge per hour. The same person comes every time, which is very helpful because she knows my house and my needs. They are very accommodating. I am very happy with their service. I was very frustrated with my last house cleaner because I got a different person every time. She has never been sick but my understanding is that they would send another person if she was. If I wasn't happy with her they can send someone else. The person that runs the office is very nice and I am really very happy with her. I would recommend them. The pricing is very good and I am very happy with the quality of the housecleaning,

We have used the service for almost a year now. The first person wasn't thorough enough, though I tried to coach her. Tina was great about finding a replacement. We now have a person we've had since January who is quite good and is very responsive to any requests for modifications. We use the person 5 hours every 2 weeks and feel we get our money's worth. Tina herself is great to work with, flexible and responsive. I think the service we get from WH is great. No one can clean your house like you do, so it always looks less than perfect to me. I see every small speck which is why I cannot grade the quality 'A' - nor could I probably grade anyone's quality 'A' except my own.
